3rd Person POV

Quiet.

Too quiet.

Too quiet for Wanwan to sleep peacefully.

"Gosh!! I cant sleep like this!!" Wanwan whined as she tossed and turned in her bed. She was still in the infirmary, along with Zilong. Her ankle has yet to recover.

Wanwan pressed the pillow against her face and groaned into it, letting out her frustration. She took it off for some air, and then repeated.

Throughout the night.

The next morning, she woke up groggily. Her hair was in a mess, and dark eye bags formed under her eyes. Heck, she was still half-asleep. With eyes half-closed, she reached to the table beside her and grabbed onto the first thing her hand held. A cup of water. She gulped the contents down, not thinking too much about it. But then she came to the realisation.

Water.

"Oh my gosh! Finally!" she squealed as she gulped the rest of it down, satisfying her dry throat. God, she felt alive. She looked around for any more glasses of water, but found none.

"Are you done?" said a voice in the doorway. She turned her head and saw Ling standing there, leaning against the doorway.

"Good morning to you too" she said as he made his way towards her.  Grabbing a chair, he set it beside her bed and sat on it.

"You better thank me.  I got that for you." he said, looking straight into her.

"Heh, thanks. But where did you get this anyway? Is the pump fixed?"

"No, its still broken. Baxia rolled down to town and came back with two huge barrels full of clean water. So there." he replied.

"Oh, I see. What about showers? Sure, not showering for one day is fine, but we cant live like this for weeks." she said, not knowing how stupid she sounded in front of Ling. Not showering for a day? Welcome to the life of the Agile Tiger and her harsh training.

Ling hesitated for a little. "Baxia said we have to take public baths for that. Nearest one is in town."

"Ugh, this is so troublesome!" Wanwan whined, setting the empty cup of water onto the table and flopping back onto her bed.

"Who asked you to break your ankle?"

"Not my fault! I got separated from Baxia, and the shadows attacked from all directions! What could I have done then?"

"At least use your second skill."

"Hello, my mana was running low."

"Buy boots, then"

"i-"

As the two started squabbling, Baxia entered the room. He had a towel draped over his shoulders, and a sling bag by his side.

"Yo. We're gonna have to go downtown if you wanna bathe. Dont worry about your ankle, I'll carry you down there."

Out of nowhere, Zilong appeared in front of Baxia, towel also draped over shoulders. This guy can get really impatient sometimes.

"Lets go. >:)" Zilong said, hands on his waist.

Ling sighed. "I'll get my stuff. I'll get Chang'e to get your clothes."

Zilong chuckled. "Oh? Why not you? Your rooms are next to each other-"

"Not another word."

"Got that." Zilong said firmly, saluting to Ling.
