"Zi..."

Huh?

"Zi...!"

Who...

"Oi, Zilong! Wake up!!" Baxia's face was right in front of Zilong. Startled, he jolted up and pushed Baxia away, a sharp pain in his leg shooting through.

"You really need to calm down. No, we're not dead. Surprisingly." Baxia said as he looked at the sky, at where the platform was once at.

Zilong looked at his surroundings. They seemed to be in the middle of a forest, rocks and twigs scattered everywhere.

Panicking, he went to Baxia and grip him tight on the shoulders, which made the tank flinch. "Oi, where's everyone?! Wanwan, Ling- C-Chang'e?!!"

Baxia pushed his hands away and rubbed his shoulders, sighing. "Okay first, I am in lots of pain. I did shield you from the fall, which was very high. And as for where they are... I dont know..."

Zilong eased up and took in a deep breath. There were too many emotions in his head that he doesnt know what to feel anymore. He tried to cry for Chang'e, but the tears wouldnt come. He tried to shout in anger at Yu Zhong, but he couldnt bring himself to do so.

"Right now..." Baxia said, struggling to stand up. Zilong rushed over to help him. "We have to find Wanwan and Ling. For all we know, the Scale's not broken yet. He may be in danger now."

Zilong shook all unnecessary thoughts from his head. He grabbed his spead, which was slowly falling apart. His spear, almost losing its power. He looked over at Baxia, who was steadying himself.

"You need help?" Zilong asked. Baxia only shook his head and snapped a branch off a nearby tree, using it as a walking stick.

"No, I'm fine. I have this."

"Pfft, perfect for an old man like you"

"Shut it."

Eyes fluttering open, Ling slowly opened his eyes to be greeted with the bright light of the sunset. His vision was blurry at first, but soon cleared up. He sat up, his entire body aching from the impact. He grabbed his  head to keep himself from falling back down due to dizziness.

After regaining all consciousness,  panic rose in him.

"W-wait.. where's Wanwan...?" he asked himself, immediately standing up and looking around. All he saw were trees, some of which were broken into half with rocks all over the ground.

He squinted his eyes to get a better look. His eyes landed upon a figure who was unconscious, laying by a tree. When his eyes adjusted, he realised it was Wanwan. Quickly, he rushed over to her, tripping on stones on the way.

"Wanwan? Wanwan! Oi, wake up!" He shook her shoulders, trying to get her to open her eyes. When she flinched, he heaved a sigh of relief. She slowly looked up at him, still dizzy from the fall.

"L-Ling...? Is that you?" she asked in a quiet voice. Steadily, Ling helped her sit up and rest against the tree.

"Yes, its me. I'm not dead, you're not dead. No one's dead." He replied, cupping his hand on her cheek. When her eyes fully opened, he saw that she was back to normal. Those bright, beautiful yellow orbs were staring right into his pink ones.

Ling looked at where the Reverse Scale was. He saw that it wasnt on her chest anymore, and saw that the shattered pieces were all over the ground as a result of the impact from falling. Suddenly, he recieved a slap on his cheek.

"What the hell are you looking at, idiot?!!" Wanwan shouted, turning around all embarrassed.

Confused at first, but Ling realised what she was talking about. His face heated up, turning red. Desperate, he swatted his hands everywhere.
