stargazing of jeonghan and you

happiness is what you feel right now and the first instict you did was to text jeonghan. you looked at the time and it says, 11:48pm the lights at your house is now off since 10pm.

after you texted jeonghan to go with you at the rooftop, you heard a knock from your window. it's been a while since he did that, you smiled at yourself as you approached and unlocked the window. as you opened it, you saw jeonghan sitting at the concrete his back facing you.

"lia, the stars are really alive tonight." he mumbles clear for you to hear as he looks up the sky. later on, he turns his back and softly smiled at you, "gusto mo ice cream?" he asked innocently. you softly slapped his arm while climbing up your window and replied, "rooftop lang tayo."

even before you can climb up, he pulled you down and held your hand. you felt your heart beating faster as he safely landed at the smamk garden you have at your house as he comfortably stood up, he looks up to you and smiled, "dating gawi." he whispered. he held your hand and helped you jump from where he was standing.

you both quietly walked side by side as you just feel the breeze of the air hitting you. you were shivering from the coldness of the air as you suddenly felt a cloth hug you from behind. "lagi mo naman nakakalimutan yung hoodie mo eh." he says as he shyly looked down and puts both of his hand at his pockets.

you both arrived at the 24/7 ice crean shop outside your village, as he came back you were flattered at how he still knows the ice cream you were getting and also, it's been a long time since you had this, you smiled again.

you both continued walking until you reached the park. this is where you both always had your small secret dates when you were still together. he sat down on of the swings as he pats the swing beside him inviting you to sit with him as well. then, the silence overcame.

you were just looking at the sky, specifically at the stars until he broke the silence, "i love how the stars are always alive whenever i'm with you," he then turned his head and looked at you, "cheesy it may sound, but it is." then he chuckled.

you had this question you wanted to ask him so you blurted out, "how did you know my course?" you asked. he looked down and smiled, "i knew since day one that you'll never follow what your parents wanted, so, tried to use some few tricks just to know your block from fine arts." you laughed at him and shook your head.

"does," you noticed that he was unsure of his question, "your parents know about you taking arts?" he asked. you looked up again and say, "honestly? yes, they know. but kuya wonwoo doesn't know na alam nila mom." you muttered.

"han," you continued, he's already looking at you while you were still looking at the stars above. "i'm sorry." you then felt a hand above your hand as he slowly interlocked it with his and squeezed it, "don't be, i've forgiven you a long time ago." he whispered.

"but," the but caught your attention as you looked back at him but he was looking at both of your hands interlocked. "i still want to know why, lia." he sighed, "but if you're still not really ready, it's okay, like what i said, i'll wait."

with those words, you felt your heart ache of how selfish you were, then suddenly you asked him a question that caught off his guard, "han, what if" you breathed sharply and continued, "what if one day, i'll be gone, far..." you looked up and pointed at the stars, "far like the stars above."

he tried to reply to what you just said then you said, "i won't die 'no." you laughed. nakahinga ulit siya nang maluwag when he asked, "the question is, how long?" you looked at him and smiled as you put your free hand above the interlockec fingers with his.

"it's just what ifs, han." you say.

but his gut is telling him you have something more to say, but still, he didn't force you and just let it be. let the present and future go with the flow for the both of you.
