fifteen minutes before christmas, after the exchange gift with your family friends inside the garden house, you were just sitting under the skies at the garden witnessing the fireworks that goes around you. smiling along with your family friends, laughing until everything died down and just admiring the skies while the wind blows through the air.

still on the same position, you stretched out and looked around to see others and some have their eyes closed just feeling the christmas spirit while some are talking in whisper to avoid disturbance, you realized jeonghan's not around but that's okay, he might be doing inside the house or probably sleeping before christmas since he loves taking naps and he's been doing this for so long.

while just sitting comfortably, you felt a sudden weight that snaked around your neck, as you looked up you see jeonghan looking from afar while smiling, you looked back to look at the skies again and smiled, "hinahanap mo ako 'no?" he mumbled, you just hummed in response.

he smiled cheekily and raised his eyebrows, "ano 'yon?"

"please don't close your heart to anyone else, if ever you find someone that can make you happy, go for it." you smiled, he just nodded at you but you can see how sad his eyes were, you cupped his cheeks and smiled showing a little box at him, "charaaaan!" you say as he laughed at your cuteness.

"may gift din ako sa'yo, sabay na ta'yo." he says as he gets a small box as well from his pocket and it's a velvet box perfect for rings.

"lia, i want you to know that promises can be broken, pero i hope kahit ilang years man ang makalipas and hindi talaga ta'yo para sa isa't isa," he says still looking at the box then suddenly he looked up and gave you a sad smiled, "gusto ko suotin mo pa rin 'to not for me, but for you to have a sentimental value with you, with our memories together and a promise that you will always be happy." he says.

you smiled at him as you also opened a box with two matching bracelets, you looked up at him and smiled, "honestly, wala na ako masabi but please take care of this always, han, and also,"

he puts the promise ring he bought for the both of you, a promise of happiness for the both of you while you puts the bracelets as a promise of "i'm always here" even though they will be thousands of miles apart.
