national boyfriend's day!

the door of their shared home finally opens and malia was greeted by a pouting jeonghan. he was standing by the doorway as his hand was holding on the doorknob while the other one was inside his pocket. he quietly scoffed and opened the door more to let his girlfriend enter, despite being sulky he never forgets to help malia carry her bag while she removes her shoes.

also, he never forgets to kiss her forehead every time he comes home first and as he did, malia looked up grinning while holding a small baby blue box as malia whispered, "surprise?" in the cutest way possible. jeonghan looked away while scratching his nape as he shyly looks back down and placed a peck on malia's lips.

"tampo pa rin ako." he softly says as he closes the door behind her. "happy national boyfriend's day, hannie ko." malia says as she gave the small box and held jeonghan's face, leaning in and planting small kisses on his forehead, his nose, his eyes, his cheeks and lastly a long soft kiss on his lips.

as they pull apart, jeonghan was smiling shyly as he gave another peck which made malia giggle, "open the box na because," she paused getting the plastic bag by her side with jeonghan's favorite food, "long overdue na yung nasa loob ng box na 'yan, i kept forgetting to give it to you nakatago lang sa may cabinet and surprisingly, you never notice." she says as she held jeonghan's arm guiding them both inside the living room.

"come on, open it na." she says as they both sat down by the couch. jeonghan looks at her fondly as he hugs her with one arm by side, "i haven't seen it pa pero thank you, my lia." he says with that endearing smile which made malia's heart skip a beat as if it's the first time again, "always, hannie ko. dali na open mo na 'yan!" she says again as jeonghan nods eagerly.

while jeonghan was unboxing the small baby blue box, malia can't help but take out her phone and starts recording the whole process, jeonghan also gave some side comments while he opens it and finally when he finishes, he was greeted by a small box with a gundam inside it— which he already has back home on his shelf.

he tried to stop his laugh as he looked up beimg greeted by a pouting malia, "hindi ka ba nasurprise?" she asks disappointment is evident by her voice. jeonghan reached out for her hand and squeezed it pulling her and letting her sit on his lap. he puts his arms on her waist while looking at the gundam he was holding, "no, i am actually, it's just," he looks up and smiled, "i already have this, love." he continued.

malia's face turns into confusion, "huh? that's limited edition from international outlets pa lang! wala pa 'yan sa philippines!" she says placing her hand above jeonghan's who was holding the box of gundam, jeonghan smiles again as he says, "si channie nagbigay, last year? i was susprised though. kala ko nga pinapabigay mo but he says, kuya tanggapin mo 'to basta kausapin mo na si ate lili. so i was, like, ayun, tinanggap ko but—"

"don't tell me kaya mo lang ako kinausap because of gundam." malia says sadly, jeonghan immediately tightened his grip on her waist as he kisses her shoulder, "hey no. i really planned on talking to you i was just really surprised kasi limited edition and binigay lang sakin." he explains which made malia pout more, "alam mo ba sa akin din 'yun galing." she mumbles while looking at the gundam jeonghan was holding, the latter let's out a confused hum which made malia smile.

"yung gundam that chan gave, galing din sa akin 'yon kasi i thought he wants it too." malia says which made jeonghan reply with a nod and let her continue, "yun pala he's giving to you. i was planning to give that to you last year until i forgot ngayon ayan na, pero you have na pala the other—"

"no, i'll keep this too." he cuts her off as he soothingly brushes his hand by malia's arm, "thank you so much. best national boyfriend's day, i guess." he teases as he gave malia a quick peck on the lips.

"gago, birthday mo rin bukas bakit parang mas nataranta ka today?" malia asks, "what do you want for tomorrow ba?" she adds as jeonghan made a thinking face, later on his gaze ends up locking with malia and genuinely says,

"all i wanted in my birthdays every year is for you to be happy, and i'm adding something on my wants," malia raised her eyebrows to let him continue, "stay with me, 'til we grow old." he softly says which made malia smile,

"i will, han. i will." she says back as she leans in and closes the gap between them.
