airport departure

it's the day.

you arrived at the airport as you tap the head of the person sleeping on your shoulder, "ano ba..." the person sleepily whined, you laughed at him and pinched his side, "ji, ano? ayaw mo ako pababain?" you asked your best friend who woke up immediately as he looked around and see that you're already at the airport.

wonwoo removes his seatbelt from the driver's seat and pats his boyfriends head to wake up, "love, labas lang ako i'll just get the cart for her luggages." wonwoo says as he quickly pecks his sleepy boyfriend on his lips.

"ouch... grabe naman magising kailangan mamangga." joshua says trying to get his phone on his pocket. "aray! aray! araaay!" sanha says as he tries to reach for the handle of the door and open it, "finally lumuwag na." sanha says closing his eyes as he opened the door.

"kasi naman, joshua can drive pero tamad," soonyoung says from the passenger seat while removing his seatbelt, "ayan, siksikan kayo diyan sa likod." he ends as he opened the door, on the other hand, wonwoo finally comes back and opens the door, "ano? ayaw niyo ba bumaba?" wonwoo asked looking inside.

you opened the door and finally, you finally felt it. you're finally leaving the country where you were born and grew up with and continue your journey on the other side of the world. you looked around and realized jeonghan didn't come. you felt sad thinking about it but kind of relieved that if you ever see him, you'll have second thoughts again.

after fixing your luggages on the cart, your brother pushed the cart while soonyoung goes beside you and held your hand as he squeezed it every step you take, he felt that you were nervous. "bebe, if kailangan mo kausap doon, one call away lang ako ha?" soonyoung says as you finally arrived near the entrance.

you looked at soonyoung and nodded, "kuya paano pag pagod ka?" he only chuckled and pinatong ang dalawang kamay niya sa ibabaw ng shoulders mo, "okay lang ano ka ba, call ka lang kahit kanino sa amin ni kuya mo wons." he says as he taps both of your cheeks and kisses your forehead.

after that, jihoon went near you and softly slapped your arm repeatedly as he was pouting, "mukha kang tanga, wag kang ganyan jiji." you whispered, he looked up at you and glared, "ikaw na nga 'tong aalis ako pa nasabihang tanga." he whined, you held his wrist to stop him from hitting you and pulled him for a hug. you felt his hand on the back of your head as well as the back.

"ikaw," he talks as he puts his cheeks on your forehead, "mag-iingat ka doon kasi ikaw lang mag-isa." he then removed himself from the hug and held both of your cheeks, "gusto ko magkaroon ka na ng mga kaibigan na nandyan para sa'yo, substitute best friend ko lang naman kasi ako pa rin original." he says as you jokingly slapped him on his chest, you were trying not to drop your tears until he pinched your nose like he always do whenever you're tears are forming.

"ano? iiyak ka na ba? sige na ibagsak mo na." jihoon says as you finally let out a sob, "kasi naman eh mukhang tanga nagpapaiyak!" you scolded him which caught your brother's attention, "lia, language." he said sternly which made jihoon laugh.

"wala na magbe-baby sayo doon, kaya namnamin mo na yung pagiging stern ni kuya won." he added. "pero seryoso lia, ingat ka doon ha! hihintayin kita basta pag balik mo ako pa rin best friend mo." jihoon says as he softly wiped all your tears using his thumb. "thank you jihoon, for being my best friend for the past 11 years" you muttered, "thank you also. i love you and lagi ako proud sa'yo." he whispered.

"i love you too and gusto ko pag balik ko sikat ka nang producer and singer." you teased him. he winked at you and say, "syempre ako pa." he boasted.

next one was joshua, he hugged you first and patted your head, "ingat ka doon ah." he says softly, you smiled at him and nodded, "josh?" you asked, he hummed in response and raised his right eyebrow signaling for you to continue, "ayaw talaga pumunta ni jeonghan? i still have three hours." you asked desperation hinting your voice. he clicks his tongue and shakes his head,

"ayaw niya eh, baka raw makita mo siya umiiyak." he says smiling, "sige, pasabi sa kanya i'll see him again soon." you replied, "okay, i'll tell him that. ingat ka lagi, mali." joshua ends as you gave him a thank you and one last hug.

sanha went for a hug also and told you to always stay safe that he's also excited to see your future arts, lastly was your brother who opened his arms wide and moved his fingers signaling for you to come at him, you rolled your eyes and went for a hug as he embraced you and squeezed you tighter.

"mamimiss kita kuya," you says in between your sobs, you cried again because it will be a long time again to see him since he's also busy with work. "nagtatampo pa rin ako kasi wala ka sa kasal namin." he mumbled at you, you removed yourself from the hug and this time you held your brother's cheeks.

"kahit wala ako doon physically, i'll be there technologically." you teased him, he pouted more and pats your head, "kuya promise, kahit ano oras pa 'yan i'll try to face time you sa buong ceremony until the end, kahit sa reception pa." you reassured him which he slightly smiled and gave you a quick kiss on the forehead.

"pero promise me you'll visit me sa italy ha." you say glaring at him, "promise." he says bringing out his pinky finger and locking it with yours. he hugged you one last time and exchanged some i love you's.

what you didn't know is that jeonghan was there, beside his car standing and looking at you walking away, he then whispered, i love you. while you were entering inside the aiport, until joshua texted him.

he made his way to where the others were standing waiting for you to finally go in. once you went in, you looked back and saw jeonghan giving you a sad smile as he weakly waved. your tears started to pour now as you mouthed, i love you at him as he nodded and mouthed back, i will wait for you.

not even a hug, or one last kiss before you leave but that's okay, seeing him before you leave was enough.
