<baler first> dinner date.

as the last day of your baler trip with jeonghan approached, he made a reservation in a restaurant at the resort you both stayed near the beach. you were just looking at the scenery as you felt a kiss on the top of your head and jeonghan sat down in front of you and smiled, "hi" he said shyly.

"mukhang tanga, you just talked to the manager tapos ngayon you act like you're shy." you scolded him which he replied with a shake of his head and drank on his iced tea. comfortable silence was filled around as you both were just looking at the scenery as well. then later on, he looked at you and spoke,

"did you love it here? he asks, you looked at him and smiled, "i love it, so much." you softly said. the food arrived later on as you both just munched. you both talked about the random things and the memories you both shared with each other as well as your best friends.

after a while he finished chewing, he puts down his utensils and crossed his arms, "lia, i have a question." he started, you looked up to him and raised your right eyebrow, "that night, when you announced about you passing your dream school," you stopped eating as you put down your utensils as well, you drank from your iced tea and comfrotably sat on your chair, "what do you mean prove sa parents ko? my parents loves you." he says.

you shook your head in disagreement and looked up, "yes, they do like me but as your friend lang siguro, they probably see me as your enemy when it comes to studying." you rolled your eyes which he giggled. "stop laughing, it's not funny" you whined.

he puts his hand on the table and opens his palm indicating for him to hold your hand which you agreed and puts your hand on his palm as he squeezed it. "ano ba nasabi niya for you to say na you're not the one for me?" he asked.

"this story is funny kasi eh," you mumbled, he smiled and nodded to signal you to go on, "i was walking sa mall alone waiting for jihoon kasi we will buy school supplies for the second term nung grade 12," you started as you looked up to see his reaction but he was just looking at you fondly and listening intently.

"then someone called for my name, when i turned around it was tita yoon with sanha, then ayun they invited me for lunch and thank God, jihoon arrived a little late so i had a chat pa with your mom, she just asked me how was my day and stuff like that while sanha also shared his own stories." you smiled remembering that.

"then she opened the topic about college courses so ayun, she asked me if i'll take law pa rin but i told her i'm not sure kasi baka i will take related sa arts, she was shocked kasi nga diba gusto nila mom mag law din ako..." you trailed off, "then i told stories of how i really love photography hahahaha" you just laughed,

"then she later on said, han's taking law and i want him to work hard for that, gusto ko rin magiging partner niya would also be related sa law para maganda ang usad ng buhay. kita mo yun han," you sighed and laughed weakly, "if i ever chose law because of you, uusad ba talaga ang buhay? sasasaya ba ako? haha i want to prove kay tita that taking arts ay pwedeng ipagmalaki." you said weakly.

he puts up your hand and interlocked it with his, "your happiness what matters the most, lia. no matter what my mom tells you, hindi lang siya but other people, don't mind them, okay?" he says and you nodded in response, "if it makes you happy go for it." he says to you as you gave him a smile.

"eh ikaw han? are you happy?" you asked him which he gave you the softest smile.

"i'm happy as long as you're happy." he genuinely said.
