malia avery

the whole drive until airport wasn't awkward or that comfortable, it was just enough for malia and avery as they just jam to their favorite songs— they would also lowkey sing-a-long with it until they both sing together, probably their first ever hang out just the both of them and sadly, it's the last day of malia.

malia didn't complain since all of her closest people are busy, it is also a good time to hang out with avery since for the past three weeks was full of problems specifically relationship problems. this is also only the time malia can repay avery for being such the sweetest person for also helping her yesterday packing up after her exhibit.

as they arrived at the airport, avery helped malia taking her baggage from the trunk and after that they just stood there at the parking lot awkwardly.

"uh.. thank you pala ha." malia says as she doesn't know whether to hug avery or shake her hand, "welcome! kahit hindi tayo masyado nag-usap throughout your stay pati na rin sa car, you're actually already a keeper" avery smiles, "share ko lang kasi ano, if i play my playlist and the person who i am with sang along with me, natutuwa ako." malia smiles and swallows her saliva,

"avery?" she asks, avery turns her head and hummed in response, "since ayun nga we didn't even talk much, gusto mo coffee muna ta'yo? my treat! i still have two hours pa naman before i go on board." malia offers which avery smiled and shakes her head, "eh, baka nakakaabala pa, 'wag na hintayin na lang kita makapasok sa loob" avery says.

malia reached for her wrist and held it, "uy, i insist! sige na, kahit mga thirty minutes lang ganun kasi ang boring mag-isa dapat kasi sinabayan na ako ni channie" malia pouts which avery giggled in return, "parehas talaga kayo ni jeonghan." avery suddenly says at namula ang mukha ni malia, "sus, kinikilig na siya sige na nga." avery teases as she gets her keys and locks her car as they both walk side by side going at the nearest cafe.

as they arrived at starbucks, they both ordered their drinks. luckily, the cafe wasn'r crowded since it was on a weekday as they easily got a table. they both got their drinks already and took their seat. it was quiet for a moment until avery spoke first.

"kahit matagal ka na sa italy, ingat ka pa rin dun ah." malia looks at her and smiles, "hindi rin tayo ganoon ka-close pero i wish you happiness and health, hopefully magkita tayo ulit sa susunod if ever gusto mo bumalik" malia nods, "promise pag balik mo wala na problems, you'll get your deserve rest na talaga, i'm sorry" avery laughs as malia shakes her head,

"ano ka ba, wala ka kasalanan, nag mahal ka lang naman." malia says as avery pouts, "mahal ko nga ba? charot" avery jokes which malia glared playfully, "joke lang naman, ito naman..." she gets a tissue from the table and wiped the sides of her mouth, "simula ngayon, close na tayo ha?" malia suddenly says, "kasi avery, sa buong buhay ko madalang lang ako magkaroon ng mga babaeng kaibigan tingnan mo napunta na ako sa italy lahat lahat, dalawang lalaki lang pinaka-close ko." avery reached for malia's hand and held it.

"i'd be glad to!! alam mo nung law school days, lagi ka kinukwento ni jeonghan kasi one time— ay shet feeling ko hindi mo 'to alam teh!" avery excitedly says as she rests her elbows on the table and her chin on top of her hand, malia laughs softly, "kasi may nakita akong picture sa dorm niya noon! oo nag dorm siya para mas malapit sa uni namin, oh diba pak mayaman talaga ang laki ng dorm, pent house ata binigay ng parents eh." avery says lowkey looking up as she remembers a certain memory.

malia smiles, "oo, grabe parents nun. sa aming apat, jihoon, joshua, jeonghan, and i, pamilya ng yoon ang laging may ambag" avery nods as she softly taps malia, "ay ayun na nga! okay back to my story, i saw this picture frame kasi hindi ganoon kalaki pero kitang kita naman siya, naka-display sa may sala niya and it's his picture with a girl, i asked him kung sino 'yon, alam mo ba tinanong ko lang kung ano pangalan pero nagkwento siya about sa'yo." avery says pointing to malia.
