I woke early this morning as the pain in my stomach and lower abdomen was becoming too much to ignore. The pain was all over it wasn't in a certain place concentrating everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

All signs of sleep was gone as I ran to the bathroom. I just about made it as I threw up into the toilet bowl, some of it didn't make it in. I sat on the floor for a good ten minutes after I had finished vomiting just in case. Once clear I pulled myself up with the help of the sink and walking back to my room and into bed.

Sleep didn't come after that I just laid there holding my stomach. Zak entered my room abruptly. He looked as if he was about to shout, but then the look of sympathy took over.

"Hey what's wrong?"

"I don't feel too well." I tried getting up but it made me nauseous. "I think it's something I ate."

"We both ate the same thing."

"You're right."

"Wait, you had prawns in your soup, maybe it's that. Let's get you checked out."

"Err can we go to a normal Doctor?"

He looked at me weird then agreed. After changing into something Zak approved he drove me to my GP where we waited until my name was called. Zak helped me to the doctors room where I knocked on the door.

"Come in," she called.

"I can handle going in there alone, I'll be fine why don't you go wait for me out there?" I told him.

"Are you sure?"

"I'll be fine," I assured him. As much I appreciate his help I just didn't want him in there with me.

He walked back the way we came into the corridor and out as I entered the doctor's room. "Morning," I greeted her.

"Good morning," she greeted back, giving me a once over and looking back at her file. "How can I help you?"

I told her my symptoms and all the vomiting and how Zak thinks it's food poisoning and here we are having a check up. "My brother think it's food poisoning, since a week ago after we had some Chinese takeout the vomiting began and it hasn't gone away. I doubt it's food poisoning probably a come and go virus or something of the sort, I mean if it were food poisoning everyone else who's had food from there should be sick too but it's just me." I rambled

The Doc, nodded and took down notes. "Okay, when is it worse?"

"After I wake up, well it's after I get out of bed then it's like a volcano eruption."

"Anything else?"

"I can't seem to stomach anything at all. I vomit out whatever I eat, I'm okay with a slice of toast lightly buttered, plain crackers I can't stand cheese the smell is just too strong. Oh and curry, the other day I was cooking chicken curry and the smell of it made me vomit forget eating it! You get the idea right?"

"Alright," she nodded turning to face me. "When was your last period?"

I opened my mouth to say last month but stopped as I realised I didn't have my period last month. It didn't come and I didn't think about it once. I had my period the month before but not last month. "The month before last."  I told her.

"Really?" She looked at me surprised.

"Why do you ask? You're not implying what I think you're implying, are you?"

She gave me a sympathetic look. "You're pregnant and by the looks of it about twelve weeks along."

"You're kidding me! That can't be, I can't be pregnant and-and not notice! Twelve weeks? Three months?"
