The sun was low in the sky, the tell-tale sign of sunset soon approaching. I walked out of the driveway onto the road. I walked down the road strolling along focusing on getting there in once piece, fully whole without breaking down on the middle of the road. I picked up my pace as the wind picked up becoming nippy.

I had walked this path many times never had it felt like a long-winded joke to see how long it takes for me to give up, to test my patience. Somewhere out there someone was playing a cruel joke on me, to see the end of me because this was it. I would be gone in a few weeks a few days even in a few hours. I would be gone and, in my place, would be the little pitter-patter of my baby, half of me walking this earth and I'd be watching down on my little sweetheart.

I had eventually got here, and when I did, I was out of breath and thirsty. I ran to the kitchen grabbing a bottle to quench my thirst, once satisfied I emerged to the living room which was empty of anyone I would usually speak to, but the members of the pack were curious to my presence as I felt their eyes follow me around. I left quickly and headed up the stairs following a hunch I headed to what I believed to be his room I pounded my fist on his door before barging in into the room.

My eyes scanned the room to find a sweaty, half naked Eli who was huffing angrily. By the looks of it, it wasn't entirely from the punching session he had with his worn-out punching bag that had seen better days.

He stared at me wide eye as I did the same, I stared, ogled his half naked, sweaty body that was well defined with his shorts hanging low on his hips and did he look fine. Fine enough to render me speechless, that was until my eyes landed on his face which had broke into a smirk and his eyebrows quirked in amusement.

"Can I help you?" He asked his amusement evident.

I opened my mouth like a goldfish with nothing coming out then closed it, my face heated slightly embarrassed but that was short lived as I remembered the note in my hand and the importance of barging in came back to me. "We need to talk." I said, all serious.

As those words left my mouth, he seemed to sober up all amusement gone. "What's up?"

I walked further into his room, opening the window that led to the balcony, his parents had their place, yet he decided to reside in the pack house. I climbed out onto the balcony being super careful making sure not to hit my bump in the process. I looked out the sun had set, and it was just after dusk.

"So, what's going on in that head of yours?" He asked appearing behind me.

I turned to see he had now put on a tee shirt that fit snugly on him. I gave him a smile walking over to him.

"Are you okay?" I asked checking his face for any physical damages.

"I'm fine," he assured me.

"Are you sure he didn't do anything to you did he? He didn't hurt you at all?"

"No," he laughed.

I nodded remaining quiet. "I need you to do something for me." I wasn't looking at him as I spoke. "I need you to get in contact with Enzo, I need you to be discreet and quiet about it." I was now looking up at him. "I need you to get in touch with him and meet him when you do, do it away from here far, far away from here and give him this." I handed him the note.

"What if I don't do it?" He asked.

I turned to face him. "It's important I speak to him." I whispered my vision blurring with unshed tears.
