I had left the building, with the desires to get away from Mac to get as far as possible were getting stronger. I was still on the property of the Alpha, to leave would be stupid as I didn't have a car for one, two it'd create so much more unwanted drama the whispered about me had already begun and then to leave the property would initiate a man hunt and I feared for my life when it came to Mac now. He's unpredictable and dangerous.

I walked to the den that we had put up when we were kids and now it's still standing. My dad and Finn's had put it up for us as kids, now it was being used by the children of the pack. I walked over to the oldest one, it was worn out and still going strong in comparison to the others, as years went by others were put up. Looking around there were several tepee dens about. I crawled into the one we had put up, it was full of children from the pack.

"Cara," Mason ran up to me hugging me, he was growing up nicely.

"Hello," I greeted him, kissing him on the cheek, it had been a while since I seen him. I use to babysit him when I was with Finn. "How are you?"

"I'm okay, better that you're here." He rambled. "How come you don't come to our house anymore?" He asked, all the other kids were tuning into our conversation.

"Do you want me to come visit you more?"

"Yeah," he nodded. "and you can make your special marshmallow dip."

I smiled down at him, he was sitting on my lap, I hadn't realised how much I missed babysitting him. "Where's Corey?"

"He's playing with his friend, he won't let me play." He huffed.

"Don't worry we can play and make our own game and he will want to join us, how about that?"

"Mummy, said that when our baby is here he'd want to play with me."

"See you already have someone who's waiting to play with you."

He looked down at my stomach. "You're having a baby too?" He asked eyes wide.

"Yes, I am." I said rubbing my stomach.

"Don't you love Finny anymore?" A little girl names Kayla around the age of six asked.

He question broke my heart. "I do," I said swallowing the lump.

"How come you're not with him? Daddy says when you love someone you stay with them forever even if they annoy you."

"I do, but we decided to be friends instead, it's much better this way." I lied, if I didn't think my heart couldn't break any further this was it, it shattered to a million pieces.

"Does that mean you're not our Luna no more?"

"What?" I choked out, what did she just say? Me Luna? I never was. They didn't answer, it seemed as if they knew exactly what they were on about even at the young age. "E-Evelyn's Luna." I said trying to convince them.

"Nuh-uh," She shook her head, I looked around at the group the seemed to agree with her. I didn't know what else to say.

"Cara," Mac's voice scared the shit out of me. Rapidly blinking the tears away I turn to face him. He was pissed but that wasn't just it, look on his face told me he heard most of it, I don't know how much but he heard out little conversation. "Dinner's about to be served." He said not looking at me.

"Right," I said wiping my sweaty palms on the side my dress, before I pulled Mason closer to me, kissing him on the top of his head. "I'll see you later and be good to mummy and daddy." I said kissing him on the cheek. I crawled out the tepee and waved them goodbye before I tried to stand up.
