2.5 months along but look 5 months alongIt had been a few days since the face off as I'd like to call it. I hadn't returned to the pack house since and Zak was somewhat still pissed with me but not enough to pick Finn and Evelyn's side over me.
"You ready?" Zak popped into my room.
"You're talking to me?" I asked surprised.
He shrugged his shoulders. "What's done is done. Come on, you're going to be late for your ultrasound scan."
"So that means you're going to drive me there?"
"Yeah, now come on."
"Be right down," I told him ushering him out my room. I put on my dress which hugged my bump accenting my two and a half month bump, I looked five months pregnant. I pulled on leggings and slipped on my sandals.
When I got downstairs Zak was in his car waiting for me.
"When's dad coming?" I asked as we were fast approaching the pack house.
"He should be here in time for the dinner the alpha's hosting."
"Imagine how he's going to react when he finds out I'm pregnant."
Zak chuckled, "that's why I'm going to be nowhere near you when he does. The blame's going to be handed straight down to me."
"For which I apologize beforehand."
"He's going to go ballistic, loose his balls. Then his going to grill you with a billion questions and then me."
"Can't wait."
"Here we are," Zak said as he parked the car outside the pack house.
"I don't want to see anyone other than the doc." I told him getting out the car.
"Same here," he says leading the way to the front door.
The house was undergoing changes in preparation for the upcoming dinner party. Zak smoothly led the way down to the infirmary where the doc was waiting for up.
"Hi," the doc greeted us. "How are you?"
"Big," I laughed. "Especially for two and a half months."
"That's werewolf pregnancy for you!"
"One day I'd like to experience a normal pregnancy." I told them getting on the chair.
We began on the scan. "You can see the head, which is developing well the arms and feet are coming along well. Your baby has a strong heart beat..." He told me I looked at the screen as he continued. "There are no visible abnormalities. Would you like to know the sex of the baby?"
"Urm, yes."
"You are going to be having a...." He continued scanning. "...A surprise!" He finished.
"What?"
"Well the baby's legs are closed and the angle they child lays in is making it hard to see."
"Damn." I muttered. The doc handed me some paper towels using them I cleaned the jelly off.
"Well, everything is set in order. The child is very healthy. Maybe at the next scanning we can find out what the gender of the child is."
"Right," I said getting up. "Thanks doc."

"Wasn't that fun?" I asked Zak as he pulled into our driveways.
"That was nerve wrecking."
"What?" I asked looking at him.
"I'm not even being a parent and I was genuinely worried if something turned out to be wrong."
