I emerged from the bathroom to find everyone at a standoff in the middle of the dining room and kitchen. "What's going on?"

"Room wars," Finn answered my question as he popped opened a beer bottle.

"I am not sharing with my brothers fuck buddy." I told them, no point being around the bush seeing as everyone was pretty much paired off but me and Eli and it was a four bedroom beach home. "Or anyone for that matter."

"It's Michie and Dan, me and Finn, Zak and Leighton.." She drifted off.

I looked at Eli and back at the group, "we'll sort something out, I'm off to work on my tan." I left the building and found myself a nice spot to burn.

"Rule number one. Don't fall asleep in the sun," Eli laughed as I was blasted with water. My eyes shot open spotting him a few feet away from me.

"What's wrong with you?" I snapped sitting up.

Eli continued laughing until he sobered up and came down to sit next to me.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked. "Why can't you just leave me alone?"

"You're interesting."

"Shouldn't you be with them?" I gestured over to Finn and the rest.

Eli shrugged his shoulders.

"He is your alpha."

"And I am the beta, second in command."

"Remember when never use to speak?"

"Yeah."

"Why was that?"

"You were uptight."

"What? Up tight?" I was offended. "You never spoke to me how would know if I was up tight?"

"You never spoke to me."

"I had nothing to say."

"And now you do?"

"You're the one who came to me."

"As I recall you jumped into my car."

"If you had someone with you I...I wouldn't have come here."

"Why's that?"

"To be single in a group of couples no thank you I'd rather be single on my own."

"Is that so?"

"You know I liked it better when we didn't talk." I told him lying on my back.

"Come on don't be like that," he shot me with a blast of water.

I sat up, "where did you get that gun?"

"At the house."

"I want one." I told him as I headed towards the house I broke into a run I grabbed the gun and was out seconds later I ran to the ocean and filled my gun with water and scouted the area looking for Eli.

"Cara, over here," Eli waved me over to a group of teens. I jogged over to him a feet away I blasted him with my gun. "Cara! We're on the same team!"

"That was for before and now that I've got that out my system we're on the same team."

"Guys this is Cara, Cara these are some of the locals." Eli introduced us. "Here's how it's going to be me and Cara vs. you guys."

I surveyed the group there was about six of them ranging from by the looks of seventeen to nineteen. Eli was the eldest here no doubt with him being twenty three.
