CHAPTER 22

"Tama na kain buntis, let's go, punta na tayo sa hospital, you have a check up today kaloka ka talaga!"
I smiled at him as he took a deep breath, para s'ya pa itong manganganak.

May last check up pa ako ngayon, he escorted me off to his car and we off to hospital. Nang makarating kami ay agad kaming dumeretso sa personal doctor ko. Di na nagtatrabaho si Hiro kasi dadamayan n'ya daw muna ako.

So far his hospital at San Fernando is still raising up, kahit na wala s'ya doon.

"Ma'am, just wait for doctor Jeminez for awhile. They have a meeting po, dumating kasi ang may-ari ng hospital na si Doc Helcurt Belcher "
Napatango ako sa secretary n'ya at umupo na muna kami.

"Helcurt Belcher? His name sounds familiar to me and I think he's hot and yummy Chai, what do you think?" Napairap ako sa sinabi n'ya.

"Ewan ko sayo Hiro. I don't care if he is hot or what, malay mo matanda na pala 'yon nagdedreaming ka diyan!"

"Fine, but, if he's hot and handsome hahalikan ko s'ya Cara!"

Napatawa ako sa sinabi n'ya kasi nagcross leg pa at hinimas n'ya ito. Di man lang nahiya sa malaking katawan n'ya.

"Oh, good morning Caramel Marasegan, I'm sorry, nagkaroon kami ng urgent meeting. Come here, get inside"

Ngumiti s'ya sa amin kaya nginitian rin namin siya. At hindi kami nagpakilalang doctor dito, mahirap na. Di ko natuloy ang pagsasalita nang bumukas nalang bigla ang pinto.

"Sir, what can I help you?" Tanong ng doctor ko sa taong pumasok.

"I apologize for the interruption, but Doctor Jeminez, I need your signature-"
He paused, his eyes widening as he looked at me.

No! I suddenly felt cold and gripped Hiro's arm tightly, wanting to run. I know him, he is one of the devil! His name just came back to me. Helcurt Belcher?

"What the hell?! You're not dead?" I stepped back, and he quickly grabbed my arm.

"D-Don't touch her, who are you?" Hiro asked him.

"Colt needs to know this! How come you're alive? That was just a trick, Mrs. Develios?" He sarcastically questioned me. At sobrang kinakabahan na ako ngayon.

Basta nalang siya nagdukot ng phone at may tinawagan siya, kaagad akong tumayo at naglakad papuntang pinto ngunit hinarangan niya kaagad ako. Kinunan niya ako ng litrato at alam kong isesend niya 'yon sa demonyo n'yang kaibigan.

"Excuse me Doc Jeminez, forget what I said... I'm going."

"Bitawan mo ako ano ba!"
Naiiyak kong sabi habang palabas na kami ng hospital. Si Hiro ay hawak ng tauhan n'ya.

Dinala niya kami sa isang bahay, at mula kanina di tumitigil ang lakas ng pagkabog ng dibdib ko. I am now crying at the couch. Tinignan n'ya si Hiro at natatakot ako na baka gagalawin nila ang kaibigan ko.

"Died? I wish he had died instead!"
I retorted angrily.

"He's here anytime now. I called him, and they will use a private chopper. You're so unbelievable, good thing I decided to come here."

I glared at him, trying several times to escape but I couldn't. My belly was swollen, and he had many security guards guarding his house.

Until the door swung open widely, I stood frozen as I saw him walking in through the entrance with his friends, demons like him!

"Surprise, man!"

He walked towards me, and my knees were shaking. He looked furious, I could see it in his blue eyes. His face tensed as he stared in front of me, and I couldn't even speak, and even Hiro just stood still.
