“Thanks for your help,” said Tyvral as he walked alongside Ashoka towards the landing pad.
“No problem, wolf boy,” she said as they walked past clones who were unloading the ship and onto the landing pad.
Tyvral scoffed, “Well if you ever need help just ask” and he held out a clawed hand.
Ashoka clasped her hand around his and she turned to a man who was walking up to them. “Hello master,” she said to Anakin Skywalker.
“Ashoka,” he said with a slight smile.
Anakin looked around, “Is Master Gal not here?”
Tyvral shook his head, “No he went to the temple right away, do you want me to tell him a message?”
Anakin shook his head, “I just wanted to make sure that this one wasn’t to much trouble,” and he tipped his head towards Ashoka.
Ashoka gave him a light shove, “I am not trouble”.
“SKYWALKER!” yelled someone.
The three Jedi and the clones looked up at the star destroyer, walking down from the ramp was Dev. “Want a rematch?”
“Rematch?” said Ashoka puzzled.
Anakin sighed, “He beat me in a duel when we were both padawans, he’s quite proud”.
Dev shrugged, “Hey it’s all I got”.
The two Jedi knights appraised one another, “I hope my padawan wasn’t to much trouble”.
Dev shook his head vehemently, “No she’s welcome any time, she saved my skin more than once. Heck, you wanna trade?” he asked elbowing Tyvral a grin on his face.
“Hey!” squawked Tyvral a grin on his face in spite of himself.Shargo strode through the massive halls of the Jedi temple. Temple guards whom he towered over stood unmoving as he did. The other Jedi paid him no mind as well, other than younglings and the occasional apprentice who would gape up at him. His long steps quickly took him to a meditation room, which had to duck into, and on one the seats sat a small green Jedi with his eyes closed.
“Master Gal,” said Yoda opening his eyes, “Good to see you it is”.
Shargo bowed his head to the Jedi Master, “Thank you, master, you as well”.
Yoda looked up at Shargo with his large eyes, “Troubled you are?”
Shargo nodded solemnly as he sat down across from Yoda, “Yes, very”.
“Fear I sense in you, what it is that troubles you so?” asked Yoda his gaze never wavering.
Shargo couldn’t meet Yoda’s gaze, “Do you remember when I brought Tyvral here, and I told you of the vision I had”.
Yoda nodded solemnly, “Hmm, yes, a good life you saw he had, though great darkness”.
Shargo nodded his head numbly, “I saw him in the center of the village, surrounded by charred corpses and burning buildings. I thought if I trained him it would help him and change this”.
Master Yoda nodded, “Always changing the future is”.
Shargo spoke his slowly his voice cracking slightly as he did, “I tried to look into his future again, and I did not see the happy life. I saw him killing clones, and then again he was surrounded by the burned village and charred corpses, his Jedi robes stained with ash, and a final sight of him activating red lightsabers. What if he is destined for evil?”
“Our own our destinies are. Try to control the destiny of any, we should not,” said Yoda.
Shargo looked at Yoda pleadingly, “I know but I can’t ignore this”.
Yoda’s gaze stayed on the massive Jedi, “Make decisions out of fear you should not. One fine Jedi you have already trained, do so again I believe will”.
Shargo met Yoda’s gaze, “Thank you, master,” and he bowed to him.
Yoda bowed his head towards Shargo, “May the force be you”.
“With you as well,” said Shargo.
Short one though I'm hoping to get another one out today, though no promises. Let me know what you think and vote if you think it deserves it. Antihero out!
