Tyvral

The Charger-C70 barreled through the atmosphere of Nesant a trio of vulture just behind them. The ship rocked wildly as blasts struck it. There was a boom and ship shook violently.

“There goes one of the engines, brace yourself we’re landing the hard way,” said Zip.

Tyvral closed his eyes, breathed deeply, and closed his hands around his harness.

The ship struck the ground and skidded leaving a trail of dust in its wake.

Tyvral snapped forward and held in place by his harness. His chest instantly began to throb with pain as the ship continued skidding along the ground. They finally came to a stop and they instantly threw over their harnesses.

“Everyone out before those droids blow this bucket!” yelled Kart who ran over to exit and activated it.

Tyvral ran towards the cockpit.

“Kid!” yelled Kart.

Tyvral ran over to Zip who sat unmoving. Tyvral unbuckled his harness and shook the clone. “Zip wake up, we gotta move!”

Zip’s limbs flopped and his head lolled around his neck as Tyvral shook him, but he didn’t move.

Tyvral threw the clone over his shoulder and ran out of the ship. He laid down Zip and began to shake him again, “ZIP!” Tyvral yanked off Zip’s new helmet and tossed it to the side, “ZIP!” he yelled shaking him again.

Someone grabbed his shoulder and Tyvral spun around baring his fangs and growling at whoever had grabbed him. Kart flinched but he quickly recovered face, “Kid he’s dead”.

Tyvral slumped off as he had been struck, “But…” no words came to him.

Kart held his hand out and Tyvral clasped it and rose to his feet. Kart walked off and stood in the middle of them, “General Kenobi and his men are about two clicks to the northeast”.

Shargo nodded, “Then that is where we shall go, take the lead Captain”.

“Yes sir,” said Kart before turning to his men, “Alright you heard him, move it!”

“Sir yes sir,” responded the men with varying levels of enthusiasm.

Shargo fell behind and walked alongside Tyvral, “Ty, this is a dangerous mission you were not even briefed do you truly think that I told you to stay behind to spite you?”

“No,” said Tyvral hanging his head.

Shargo smiled at him his crest turning a vibrant orange, “Know that I only want the best for you and if you ever need anything you need only ask”.

Tyvral nodded before cocking head at his master, “I know most of your colors, though I haven’t seen that one very much”.

Shargo smiled, “Then you must pay attention more, though I do try to hide it”.

“What’s it mean?”

“It means that I am proud,” said Shargo.

Tyvral stopped in his tracks, “You’ve never said so before”.

Shargo stopped and looked back at his apprentice, “True”.

“Why not?” asked Tyvral.

“It is something that my master told me,” said Shargo, Tyvral watching him wide-eyed, “Do not praise those who are greater than you, watch them and learn”. And Shargo began to walk back towards the men.

Tyvral watched him in shock and he felt a tear slip from an eye. He ran after his master and hugged him, his arms just reaching Shargo’s waist, “Thank you”.

Shargo froze before patting his padawan’s head, “You are welcome”.
