Mal’dar & Sarna

It had been several weeks, Mal’dar stood on the landing dock watching as the ships flew towards him. The ships all spun and backed onto the landing dock. They landed and their ramps slowly lowered as Mal’dar rapidly tapped his foot, “Come on,” he muttered. The ramps finished their decent and Mal’dar immediately began scanning the face and helmets.

Maul walked alongside Gar Saxon, the two discussing something. Super Commandos poured out of the ships passing Mal’dar. Mal’dar thrummed against the landing pad as he continued scanning faces.

“She must be one a smaller landing pad,” muttered Mal’dar turning to leave. He rocketed off to another landing pad. He looked around his heart beating faster as he did. His eyes looked over the helmet of returning super commando but he did not recognize any. “She must have gone home already,” said Mal’dar nodding to himself and activating his jetpack.

He rocketed towards Abam and his heart froze when he saw a Super Commando standing outside. He landed and walked up to the Super Commando, “What are you doing here?!” he roared.

The Super Commando held out a helmet. Mal’dar closed his eyes and breathing before looking at the helmet. Rimi’s helmet looked back at him and Mal’dar began to shake. He took a shaky breath and kept his gaze up the helmet, “How?”

“A Jedi stabbed her. She is in the manda,” said the Super Commando.

Mal’dar reached for the helmet his hands trembling. He grasped the helmet and after several moments tore his gaze from it and looked at the Super Commando, “Who?”

“The Jedi was named Tiplee, your wife fought well on Ord Mantell,” the Super Commando said.

“What became of the Jedi?” asked Mal’dar.

“She was killed,” said the Super Commando.

“Thank you,” said Mal’dar his gaze fixated on the helmet.

The Super Commando nodded and rocketed away.

Mal’dar sat in the dark, surrounded by empty tihaar when the door to Abam opened. He covered his eyes as light poured in the ship, “Turh ooh e ight,” he slurred. The figure walked towards Mal’dar who squinted at them, “Oh e oh?” he asked swaying.

The figure looked at the tihaar and sighed, “I hoped that I was done teaching you,” said Sarna as she took off her helmet. She crouched down and set down her helmet, “We have a mission”.

“No!” managed Mal’dar leaning away from her.

“It wasn’t a request,” said Sarna her hand shooting forward. She injected Mal’dar who immediately collapsed. “I should have brought another one for the headache you'll have,” she muttered walking towards the cockpit.

Khura looked at Sarna who smiled at the little girl, “We’re going to get your mommy and that bitch of your other grandmother”.
