Isis doesn't want to wait. She needs to know if she's right about the lighthouse. If it's the next step in their research.
So, after a short relaxing break, she urges her friends to get in the van, and sits on the passenger seat-- by popular request. John B gets behind the wheel.
They drive for a few minutes. Isis and John B seem to be the only ones that actually believe in what they're doing. While Isis doesn't care much, John B is pretty annoyed.
"I mean, it's obvious, right? A family heirloom? What better place to hide a message?"
She nods in agreement.
"He had to know it was going to get back to me, right?"
"Totally," replies Isis.
"Yeah... maybe it's possible," adds Kie.
"It could also be possible that you're concocting wild theories to help... you know--"
"Pope?" cute John B.
"--deal with your sad feels," he finishes anyway.
"Okay, that's not right," says Isis with weariness.
"Bro, you know how I process my sad feels..." teases JJ. "Dank nugs and the stickiest of ickies, that's how I do it."
"I'm not concocting, okay?" John B insists. "My dad's trying to give me a message."
"If it helps you believe, John B..." comforts Kie.
"Look, I- I don't need a therapy session, okay?! I'm not tripping out!"
JJ shrugs.
"It's okay to trip, bro, but-"
"Look, my- my dad is missing, okay?? Missing," he supports. "You don't know what it's like to have the person closest to you vanish... and then have no idea what happened. Just... wake up every morning wondering."
