This couldn't be. We just talked about her club, and now it's gone! I was too afloat, but I tried to focus on the lesson. I headed on the HOS. Nakita kong nandoon silang tatlo ni Hurricane na nakaupo sa couch, and I told them what happened to Destine's beloved club.
"Are you serious?"
Mae's brows furrowed. "What the hell? Nakita mo ba si Destine? Nakausap mo?"
God, she was so happy when she's telling her stories about how she entered the club and became the president of it.
"I haven't seen her, but I’ll try contacting Yani baka alam nya kung nasaan," sagot ko.
Tumango si Pink. "Okay. Kakausapin ko sila Pip. Hindi kasi nila vacant ngayon. Pupuntahan namin si Ms. Ocampo."
"Thank you..." I smiled a little.
Lumapit sa akin si Hurricane. "It's okay. I hope we can help her."
"True. Aalisin tapos gagawing stockroom?" added Pink.
"There must be something else..." si Hurricane.
I pursed my lips. "I don't know. School is no longer providing them funds.
Remembering what she said made me feel so bad.
"What? Is that even acceptable?
Hurricane's lips twitched. "That's why we have to talk to Ms. Ocampo. Posibleng wala syang alam dito... And I think we can help Destine address her problem..."
Pink nodded and sighed. "She really likes her work. She's got a lot of courage, huh."
I smiled. Sometimes, people overlook those people who deserve to shine."
"We need to do something," Mae stated. We all nodded in response. Yuri gently tapped my shoulder.
"We’ll try our best, Gina. Check Destine first baka kung napano na iyon.
I nodded.
Is she okay? Is she with you? I looked on my cellphone if Yani replied, when she still hadn't ay tiningnan ko sila Cal.
"Guys!"
"Cal! Nakakagulat ka naman! Parang babalibagin iyong pinto!" sigaw ni Mae.
He scratched his nape. "Nakakakaba naman kasi 'yung message nyo. Akala namin kung napano na kayo."
"What happened?" tanong ni Jason habang nakatingin sa akin.
"Do you guys remember Destine?" tanong ni Pink.
