CHAPTER 45

I couldn't believe what just happened. It didn't even sink in until Ms. Ocampo called us to her office the next day. While everyone was enjoying the first day of Senior's week, we were being called to discuss the decision Ms. Ocampo have came up to.

"I guess you knew it, already," tiningnan nya kami isa-isa at ngumiti. "That wasn't an easy decision. But it takes only one video to prove a point."

Napalunok ako nang mapunta ang tingin nya sa 'kin. Her stares seemed light and didn't intend to scare or intimidate anyone that's why I smile afterwards.

"Now that the rule is no longer effective, what's your plan, now?"

"For now... We'll just going to enjoy, continue being leaders and serve for the school," si Hurricane.

Nagkatinginan kaming lahat bago ngumiti. Kinagat ko ang labi ko at pinisil ang kamay ni Cal na nakahawak sa kamay ko. I felt him tightening his grip on mine. This felt like impossible. Lalo na sa kanila ni Wynd at Hurricane dahil akala nila maghihintayan pa sila until the end of the school year.

Ako rin... I thought, I'd be removed from my position. Hindi ko naman alam na ang kagagahan ko nung gabing iyon ay makakatulong... or maybe that wasn't my stupidity moving, it was my braveness that pushed me to say something... to prove a point and to fight for something that shouldn't be disallowed.

Ngiting-ngiti kami habang papunta ng HOS. Everyone was enjoying the first day of Senior's week. I was agitated to join but we have a practice later for the pageant tomorrow so I couldn't fully enjoy the day. When we reached the HOS, we quickly headed to the living room and sighed dreamily.

"Ano nang plano, guys?" pambabasag ni Jason sa katahimikan. "Do we have to celebrate? Pwede na tayong lumandi as long as we want."

Hinampas sya ni Gina sa balikat kaya napahalakhak sya.

"I’m planning to introduce Hurricane to my parents."

Lahat kami ay napatingin kay Wynd nang sabihin nya 'yun. Even Hurricane turned red when she realized what Wynd has said.

"Kayo na?!" nakasimangot na sabi ko. "Hindi mo naman niligawan si Hurricane, ah?!"

He shrugged and hooked his arms around Hurricane's shoulder. Napataas ang kilay ko doon. Tumatapang na talaga itong Hangin na 'to. Dati ay halos hindi gustong kausapin si Yuri dahil sa sobrang torpe, ngayon ang kapal na ng mukhang mag-skin-to-skin kay Hurricane?!

"What for? We both like each other," he arched his brow cockily.

Humalakhak si Cal na nasa gilid ko. His lips were near on my ear that's why I elbowed him because it tickles.

Namula naman si Hurricane at marahas na kinuha ang kamay ni Wynd sa mga balikat nya. "Kapal, ah?! Parang ako 'yung naunang nagkagusto sa 'tin ah?"

Wynd rolled his eyes before looking at us. "Kayo? Anong plano nyo?"

Nagkatinginan kami ni Cal. I cleared my throat and answered. "Halos lahat na naman alam kung ano talaga ang meron sa amin ni Cal..."

"Hindi mo ba ipapakilala si Cal sa parents mo?" tanong ni Pink.

Natigilan ako. My gaze drifted to Cal’s direction. He seemed expectant with my answer. Kaagad akong nag-isip ng pwedeng sabihin. Mommy knows him already but not as my boyfriend. Hindi ko alam ang magiging reaksyon ni mommy dahil hindi naman namin pinag-uusapan ang tungkol doon. Her rules inside the house doesn't include having no boyfriend unless she said so. At isa pa... okay na ang pakikitungo ni mommy sa 'kin.

"I’ll wait for the right time," sagot ko na lang. "Sa ngayon, uunti-untiin ko muna."

"Bawal ka bang mag-boyfriend?" Jason asked.
