[JULIAN]

You don't know how wonderful it is to have someone fawn over you, wanting to cuddle and kiss you - wanting to make love to you.

"Zeus stop," I complained, trying to undo his hands from around my waist. It's Sunday morning and we are by the counters in the kitchen with Spots barking at the distance.

"Why?" he asked teasingly as he gave my neck little butterfly kisses.

"Spots' looking at us weird," I defended, trying my best to undo his hands without success.

"One last time," Zeus said, pressing himself against me.

"No Zeus!" I shuttered, blushing deeply. Zeus could be so direct.

"One-Last-Time," Zeus groaned, lifting me off the floor. I shook my head, chuckling.

"Come on, surrender or I'll make you cum on the counter..." Zeus trailed as we suddenly heard ringing.

"Sorry, that's mine," Zeus groaned, dropping me and reaching for the phone in his pocket.

"I really have to take this, we'll finish later," Zeus whispered, bringing the phone to his ear.

"Hello? Tamara?" Zeus said, walking out of the kitchen door, and into the living room. I groaned uncomfortably. How could he just leave me here all hot and bothered? Okay, my revolt did say otherwise. Well, haven't you heard of playing hard to get?

I leaned on the counter taking in the kitchen. I liked the black tiled floor and the dark wood paneling that adorned the walls. The kitchen looked pricy like the rest of the place.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I just couldn't believe it was already Sunday, and that meant I was leaving tomorrow. I didn't want to think about it, and I think Zeus felt the same way, considering the way we kept cuddling and giving each other gentle kisses. My chest felt unnaturally heavy thinking about going home to Linda  — thinking about having to subject myself to sex with Linda. I cringed at the idea. I had never liked it, and now I knew what sex could feel like when you were attracted to the person, I despised the idea of having it with her.

"Julian," Zeus said, bursting through the kitchen door.

"I have some guests coming over in a while," Zeus continued saying as he pat the dog's head as it held on to his pant leg. He gave the dog a brief soft look before looking back at me.

"Uh, okay," I said, biting my lip. Is he asking me to leave?

"I swear I'll be back as soon as possible," Zeus said, gently shaking Spots off his leg. The dog fell on its back before getting back up and whimpering.

"Fine, I'll go with you too," Zeus sighed, talking to the dog. It gave an excited bark and started nibbling on Zeus' toes. I chuckled and Zeus just rolled his eyes.

"We'll be back by ten," Zeus said, leaving the kitchen with the dog on his tail.

*

I will never admit this to Zeus in my life but I'm lonely, bloody lonely.

What in the world is taking so long? I wondered, cuddling his pillow. It's been what, twenty minutes? I groaned, rolling over on my back, the pillow still tucked between my arms.

I gauged the room for the first time ever. The walls were a creamy shade of yellow. I really like the Greek mural on the ceiling. It was of a mythical forest rich with creatures and mischief. The bluish fluorescent lights on the ceiling were in irregular shapes which made them blend into the mural as streams.
