I was shocked because of the slap that Hanan gave me but I was even more shocked when I saw Via standing in the elevator. Mukhang nagulat rin siya sa nasaksihan niya pero ang gulat ay napalitan ng pagtataka. Her eyebrows furrowed.

Hanan stepped out of the elevator. Akmang sasampalin uli niya ako nang pigilan ito ni Via. She caught Hanan's hand. Via's mad, I can f*cking see it. Nakakatakot siya. She looks like she's going to kill someone and that someone might be me.

"What right do you have to slap my husband?" She said in a thick voice.

Gusto kong magsaya sa narinig ko pero hindi ko magawa dahil alam kong mag-uumpisa pa lang ang gulo. My secret will be exposed.

"Husband?" Gulat na tanong niya.

Binitawan ni Via ang kamay ni Hanan and as I'm watching them parang gustong sumabog ng puso ko sa kaba.

"Well, girl you're husband is an assh*le!" Hanan matched her b*tch tone. "He didn't even wear his ring to caught some fish in the ocean."

Via gave her a smirked. "Hindi rin ako nagsusuot ng singsing and it doesn't mean na naghahanap ako ng lalake."

"Your husband got my---"

"Shut it, Hanan! Ako ang magsasabi kay Via at hindi ikaw!" Sigaw ko. Ako lang ang may karapatang magsabi. Ako lang.

Hinila ko papasok ng opisina ko si Via. "F*ck!" Mura ko nang nasa loob na kami.

Marahas na pinalis ni Via ang kamay kong nakahawak sa kaniyang kamay. "I need an explanation, Tariq." She said.

"I know, love. Magpapaliwanag ako." Umupo siya sa sofa na nandoon, sumunod naman ako. Sa halip sa tabi niya ako umupo ay lumuhod ako sa harapan niya. I held her hands.

"Sino siya?" Via asked. Hindi siya mukhang galit but she looks so sad.

"She's Hanan...she's..." Napalunok ako. Kabang-kaba ako. Masasaktan ko na naman siya but she needs to hear the truth. Utang ko 'yon sa kaniya. I have a plan to tell her about Hara pero hinihintay ko pa ang result ng paternity test bago ako gumawa ng hakbang, hindi ko inaasahan na mangyayari 'to and I never imagined na pupunta dito si Hanan. "Ano?" Via looked so shocked. Her lips trembled. Nagbaba ako ng tingin. Pinatong ko ang aking noo sa kaniyang tuhod. Hindi ko kayang salubungin ang kaniyang mga mata. I don't want to see hatred from her eyes even though I deserve it.

"I'm so sorry, love. Hindi ko sinasadya. Nakabuntis ako pero nangyari iyon noong hindi ka pa bumabalik sa akin. I swear simula ng binigyan mo ako ng pagkakataon, I've never been with a woman except you. Sorry. I'm so sorry. Please don't leave me." I begged.

Tumayo si Via. She walked back and forth while holding her lips. I know she's calming herself. I just watched her while I'm still on my knees. I know she needed to calm down first. A seconds later, she shead tears and I felt a thousand knives stabbed my heart. It's my fault kung bakit siya nasasaktan.

"A-anong plano mo?" Her voice is trembling.

"Susuportahan ko ang bata pero hanggang doon lang. I can't be with them dahil kayo ni Lewes ang gusto kong makasama. Kayo ang pinipili ko. What happened between us was just a one time thing. It doesn't mean anything." After I said that nakita ko kung paano tabigin ni Via ang vase na malapit sa kaniya dahilan para mabasag iyon.

"Bullsh*t! One time thing pero nabuntis mo?! Do you really take me as a fool?!"

"Via---" Hindi ko na natuloy ang sasabihin ko nang magsalita uli siya.

"Hindi ko matatanggap ang bata." She said that made me froze. She looked at me with so much hate. This is the first time I see her like this. I can't believe it. "Tingin mo ba maiintindihan kita? Do you really think na iintindihin kita?" She asked.

"Via..." Tawag ko sa kaniya.

"I'm done, Tariq. I'm done being a fool, I'm done being the understanding Via who always forgives you! Nakakapagod na. Nakakapagod kang mahalin." She said as her tears cascades. "D*mn that third generation." She laughed but I can feel her pain. "I thought we could change our fates. Akala ko tayo na but then maybe hindi talaga tayo para sa isa't-isa. I guess we will end up like them. Afterall, we can't change what's already written."

I feel so helpless. Nilapitan ko siya but before I could hug her ay umatras siya. "Love, please."

She shook her head. "Don't."

"L-love, hindi ko naman sinasadya. I was so drunk that night." Alam kong hindi magandang rason iyon but what can I say to make her stay? Iyon ang totoo. "I was so heartbroken. You love Sean, you will marry him... you are choosing him. I don't know what to do so I went to a bar, nagpakalasing ako. I remember chasing away all the women who tried to hit on me and then I saw you...I thought I saw you and the next morning I found Hara on my bed." Paliwanag ko. "I thought she was you." I looked at her begging. "Please believe me, hindi ko talaga sinasadya. Please don't leave me. Please, love." Lumuhod uli ako. "Please, love believe me. I'm not innocent but please...don't leave me."

Her lips parted. "When...Kailan nangyari?"

"Days after we talked in your shop."

Mariin niyang ipinikit ang kaniyang mga mata. When she opened her eyes she asked me a question. "May nangyari ba sa inyo the morning you found her in your bed?"

Mabilis akong umiling. "May nangyari lang naman sa amin dahil akala ko ikaw siya. I know it's not a good or a valid reason pero iyon talaga ang nangyari. I thought she was you."

"P*tangina!" Mura niya na ikinagulat ko. "Give me her contact number!" Nanggigil na wika niya.

Anong gagawin niya? "Love,"

"F*ckin give me her number kung ayaw mong iwan kita!"

I immediately gave Hara's number. I don't want her to leave me.

"What are you planning?" Lakas-loob na tanong ko.

"I'm pregnant, Tariq." She said bluntly.

I gave her a sad smile. "I know, love at handa akong tanggapin ang bata."

"What the f*ck are you saying?" Kunot na kunot ang noong tanong niya.

"I can treat the baby like my own just don't leave me."

"Do you really think na ipapaako ko sa'yo ang bata'ng hindi sa'yo?"

Natahimik ako. Is she going to tell Sean? What will happen to me? To us?

"I'm pregnant at ikaw ang ama. Now tell me, sinong ama ng dinadala ng babaeng 'yon?"
