William's POV

"I'm engaged!" masayang sabi ni Topher sakin.

"Oh, ikaw din kay Reg" he added.

Finally, the time for us comes. It's a long story why did she want to marry after her friends. Save the best for last.

I was sipping my coffee and not listening on his words but still I can hear them so I stop on sipping my coffee when he utter some words.

"I saw Howard" that words of him make me go back to my senses.

"Fuck" I said, I look straight to him in shock.

"But don't worry, he looks fine, he didn't look suspicious for us" he said.

Regina really want to go back to work and I hire her as one of our graphic designers, I know we'll work on the same building and company but I also know that Howard is capable of doing such things just to get want he wants.

And because of what I Topher just said, I rushed into Regina's house, I left Topher without any words.

It's already 6:43pm, nagkape lang ako dahil marami pa akong gagawin mamaya, so probably I'll stay up late tonight.

Nagmadali akong ipark ang kotse ko sa tapat ng bahay nila at pumasok sa gate, kumatok ako at agad naman niya itong binuksan.

"Hey, you're fine" I'm panting while cupping her face, she looks at me, maybe wondering why did I look like I join a marathon.

"Hey, Hun. What brought you here?" She said in a nice tone. Habang pinupusan ang pawis ko gamit ang mga palad niya.

I hold her arms as weightless as I can and then pull her inside the house.

She gets water from the fridge and then sit beside me, she's unbuttoning my top because I can feel the heat that cause by this nervous feeling thinking what will happen.

"Ngayon pwede ka na bang magpaliwanag?" She asked me while raising her eyebrows and handing me a glass of water.

"Howard is back" I answered her.

Kitang kita ko sa mga mata niya na natakot siya, but then I hug her tight.

"Pero tutuloy pa rin ako sa pagpasok sa company mo ah" she insist whime parting our hug.

"Yes, I can protect you now, I always will" I said and then kiss her forehead.

She's between my legs while lying down on my chest, she's holding my cheeks, caressing it.

"I'm happy, you're now brave enough to fight" she said.

"You're reason enough for me to fight" I said then kiss her hands, the one that she uses to caress my cheeks.
