Regina's POV

I woke up early in the morning hoping that I will find William in my house by this time, he didn't call last night, maybe he's too tired and let himself rest and explain today but there is no trace of him here inside my house. I went down to get my breakfast, it's my first day to work at his company. 

After I ate my breakfast, I head to the bathroom, ang aga aga ko naman ata kumilos para ngayong araw, nagbabagong buhay na talaga ako, ayoko na ulit malate. 

I fix myself, I just want to let my hair down, wearing this not-so-revealing dress, and of course my pair of high heels. It's Monday so basically Russ is not here anymore. I thought William will fetch me lalo na ngayong iisang building na lamang ang pupuntahan at pagttrabahuhan namin, pero wala. 

I then get my car keys, and hop inside my car. Malapit na ako sa company niya ng tumawag si Alexis.

"Reg! coffee shop, ngayon na." she said in a serious tone.

"huh?" I asked her, out of nowhere she's gonna call and let's all think that it's my first day, I don't want some close friend to ruin it, "Fine" I uttered, wala naman akong magagawa, hindi ko rin naman matitiis itong si Alexis.

She dropped the call and I look for a way for me to go back, akala ko di ako malalate 'yon pala gagawa at gagawa nang paraan ang tadhana para malate ako.

I can clearly see that I'm now near the coffee shop she's referring to, she's sitting on our favorite spot there, hindi niya pa ako nakikita so I parked my car and head to the door, napansin niyang nandoon na ako kaya ibinaling niya ang tingin niya sakin na animo'y papakasalan siya ni Christopher, masyadong malaki yung ngiti.

"Sana hindi sayang oras ko dito Manalo, kasi mananalo ka talaga ng sapok sakin kung bakit naman kasi pwede nalang sa tawag, diba tumawag ka naman na kanina?" I said while rasing my eyebrows on her.

"Hindi lang 'to dapat sa tawag" she said, raising her eyebrows on me too.

"Buntis ka? bakit mo naman inunahan si Marie? sinong tatay?" I jokingly asked her.

I sit before she even utter a word, she's ready for this conversation, she ordered me a coffee too, so I'll just think that this one will be serious.

She handed me the tissue that I asked for, ang init ng pakiramdam ko at parang kinakabahan dahil hindi na nga tumawag sakin si William tapos seryoso pa ni Alexis ngayon, but then I saw something.

"Puta, Alexis Manalo!" I shouted in excitement when I see her ring finger now with a ring, "Ikakasal kana." I added, a tear escaped from my eye because of happiness that I'm feeling right now. I can't find any words to say, muka nanaman akong tanga na mas naiiyak pa kesa sa ikakasal.

"This is why I don't want to say it to you, alam ko na iiyak ka, finally after how many years, yung gusto mo matutupad din" sabi niya habang pinipigilan ang tawa at pinapanood ako na nagpupunas ng mga luha ko.

"Tanga, iiyak lang naman ako sa saya, bakit naman di mo sasabihin? ano gusto mo pumunta ako sa kasal mo ng di ko alam na ikaw pala ang ikakasal?" I sarcastically asked her.

"Kaya di mo ko napapagkita these past few days, ang alam ko bibili kami ng promise ring tapos when we got inside the store, he's suddenly on his knees with this diamond ring." She said, masaya siyang nagsasalaysay ng mga nangyari.
