CAMILLE'S POV
"What are you doing?! You, monster! Don't you know who I am?! You will never survive if they knew what you've done to me! The imperial family will avenge my death! Let me go, Camille!" I scowled at count Blanc for spouting such nonsense.
"What imperial family? It was on queen dowager's order than I apprehend you and your lackeys. Do you want to see what I've done to your people, count Blanc?" I grinned from ear to ear before forcing him to see his lawn.
"You're insane. Camille, what have you done to my people? My servants?! My family?! What have you done to them all?!" I grabbed him by the hair and forced him to see his impaled wife.
"You forced me to do this, count Blanc. I've told you many times to keep yourself in check. But you ignored my warning and let greed takes over your mind." I watched as this full-grown man cry for his dead wife.
"Father! Father! Help me! Please help me!" He immediately turned to face his bound daughter.
"Anastasia! Camille, don't hurt her! She's my only heir left! Please, I'm begging you, don't hurt her. Take me instead. Don't hurt my only daughter." Count Blanc begged me. I chuckled at him.
"I will spare your life and hers. For what you've done, there is no way I'll let you leave this life with a mere punishment. Your action caused hundreds of unfair death. For what you've seen today is nothing correlated to your crimes against the people of this country. Yes, I have no right to judge you because I'm just a mere human. I'm not a God, but hey, I don't believe in God. After living this life, I don't think I will have a happy ending either. Why should I repent from doing things my way?" I signal for the knights to dragged his daughter away from him.
"Where are you taking my daughter? Please don't hurt her. Anastasia!" I smirked when I heard the duo of father and daughter screamed for each other.
"Don't worry. Your daughter will be in good care. My son is waiting for her in the carriage. He will bring her back to my estate. And as for you, count Blanc, " My butler hands me a piece of official paper that stated that everything the count owns, belongs to me now.
"No. This estate is the only proof left of my family's honour. This land, this estate, this title of mine was given to me by my father, given to him by his father. I can't simply hand this to you. Please, you've taken everything that matter to me. You impaled my wife, my male heirs and taken my daughter as a hostage. Don't you had enough?" Count Blanc sound petty just then, and it angers me.
"Had enough, you say? Did you have the same thought when you took everything from those poor farmers and villagers? Did your son felt any sense of remorse after bullying innocent souls in the academy to the point they wish to end their life? I hope your best friend, count Emery get a hold of what happened to your family. Because he's going to be next in my list." Count Blanc kowtows in front of me.
"No! You can't! You simply can't do that! My sister! My younger sister is the wife of count Emery! You can't hurt them. Just take me! Take me, Camille!" Butler James suddenly slapped the count across the fac because he was about to reach for my leg.
"How dare you called the duchess by her first name! How dare you touch the duchess with your dirty hands! She is above you, and you didn't even show her any respect when we first entered your estate! Shameless! You shouldn't be an aristocrat in the first place!" I had to stop him from beating the count because if he continues, count Blanc will die.
"James, enough. Even your father wouldn't act so recklessly. Remember that you will be replacing your father as my butler after he retired. Learn to keep your composure in the face of the enemy. If not, the enemy will use that flaw for your disadvantage. Isn't that what your father always tell you?" The butler nodded before fixing his suits.
