I was sitting silently in the car. Red insisted he drove to my spot, or his, whatever, so we can arrive there faster before the moon is full. Then the thought occured to me.

"Look who's the stalker now."

He looked at me confused.

"How'd you find me? And know that I was captured in the first place?" I asked.

"Maybe I was stalking you." He returned the joke with a not-so-funny answer. I looked at him, brows raising. Before I could get another answer, he stopped the car. We were in the spot already.

I went outside and looked at the sky.

"I was here and you weren't. I thought you were stubborn enough to not find another place for your full moon duties." He explained.

"If you knew that I was gonna be here, then why would you go here?" I crossed my arms and raised a brow.

"To kick you out." He smirked and went to the shoreline.

I rolled my eyes and sat on the sand. I haven't been feeling anything since after the guys in lab coats annoyed me.

Red sat beside me which made me look, "You really insist on staying here? And sit beside me?"

He looked at me, "Like I said, this is my spot. And this is where I sit everytime I go here." His face was too close so I avoided my gaze and got a sight of the sea, instead.

"You could've turned back there. You could do it anytime. And the full moon would've made you strong enough to take them down." He stopped for a moment, "Why didn't you?"

"I felt it. That is what they wanted. I don't know why but all I know is they were trapping me and intentionally annoying me." I recalled.

They called my name yesterday. They know who I am. But what really confused me is why they didn't want to kills me. Not that I was hoping for it or anything.

"At least they didn't trap you in there for decades." He said which made me curious right again.

"What happened back then?" I asked directly and he willingly answered.

"It was our 17th birthday. That's when we got bitten by a vampire. Assuming that she was being chased but she turned us so that we will be the target."

"I woke up the same day. I wasn't sure if Halle did as well but I felt it when they were injecting several times. Different kinds of poison that made us weak."

"The next time that I woke up, I was already wearing a hospital gown. My hair was already touching my arms. I felt.... different. Not just older. But I knew I was. It was November 22. I saw it on a digital clock. The first time I've seen one, although there wasn't a year stated."

"That day, we got out of our cuffs. We weren't ourselves, we.... killed people. The first time we did it. It was our nightmare for years."

"But the few people who stayed alive, they knew what to do to make us weak again. And we lived another decade and another, asleep and unconscious."

"My consciousness went back a few days before we escaped. I heard everything they said, felt everything they did. But I pretended like I didn't. I was good at it anyway." He smirked sarcastically.

"The day I decided to escape was when I heard Halle whisper my name. It was another round of killing those bitches. They were new faces. But this time, we didn't leave anyone out. We killed everyone we saw and we knew it. We were ourselves. But as you see, not all of them stayed dead."

He looked and sounded serious as I watch him talk. The time the story ended, I looked at the moon. There are probably seconds left before it turns full.

"Sol." I looked at him immediately. It felt weird to hear him say my name. But what's a lot weirder is what he did after that.

My eyes widened as he kissed me. But they suddenly closed without my intention.

"What was that for?" I asked, scowling.

He shrugged, "Testing a theory." He looked at the moon and when I did, It was already full. And I didn't turn, I didn't even feel like I was.

"What theory?" I looked at him, probably thinking the same thing that I am.

"That's up for you to decide."
