1. The setting of the story
- Lucifer took place in LA
- 90's is my favorite fashion decade and the main character of the story, Sol, loves clothes
- Boy meets World is mentioned in the story because it's one of my favorite 90's shows
2. My inspiration
Having a story written during quarantine, I've watched several Netflix shows and that include Teen Wolf and of course, Vampire Diaries, which was the first ever series that I've finished.
3. The unintentional metaphor
It is shown from the characters that no highschooler is perfect in both reality and fantasy:
- Rich kids can have problems that cannot be solved by money
- Cheerleaders don't solely care about their looks
- Popular kids are allowed to be insecure
- New kids have a lot to handle
- Unproblematic kids on the outside can have problems on the inside
4. Social issues being addresed
- Diversity is shown through the characters
- Slut shaming is a no no
- Bullying and stereotyping are two factors that make the world worse
- (Not by society but still an issue) Misunderstanding is the enemy most of the time
