I came back from my walk. I didn't find much in the cars.
Carol was standing at the edge of the road and Lori was hugging her. I felt bad. Even though her husband was abusive she did just loose him, and now she lost her daughter.
"You guys need help with anything?" I asked to Dale as he stood on top of the RV.
I noticed Shane was back, and I guess Andrea noticed that I had noticed.
"They didn't find anything. Rick and Daryl are still out there." Andrea said to me.
"And no y/n, we're okay." Dale answered me.
I went inside and sat down in the RV.
I emptied my backpack of things I had found from the cars on the table.
2 cans of ravioli, 4 water bottles, a cool ass knife, and a full and unopened shampoo bottle.
"What'd you get?" Shane asked as she entered the RV.
I showed him everything on the table and put it back in my bag, so he couldn't take it. I wasn't good with sharing unless it was with Daryl.
"Suns setting, they're not back." I whispered.
"It's Rick and Daryl. I came to talk to you about that." Shane said.
I flung my pocket knife open and closed, waiting for Shane to say something.
"If they don't find Sophia..."Shane whispered so no one would hear.
"I know Rick, he'll hate it. But he'll be okay." Shane whispered again, staring into my eyes, while I continued to play with the knife I found.
"I think Carol has already started accepting that she's gone." Shane said again.
"What will Daryl be like? You saw him with Merle." Shane whispered.
I paused to think about his question.
"She's a kid. He won't like it." I said.
Shane sniffled and rubbed his forehead. Without saying anything he left the RV.
I looked out the RV window at the clouds and sunset. They were so pretty. I've always loved sunsets.
"You didn't find her?" I heard Carol say, crying. I ran outside the RV to see them.
Rick and Daryl stood there, covered in dirt, but didn't have Sophia.
"You can't leave her out there in the dark she won't make it." Carol said as she cried even more. Lori hugged her. "We can't be out in the dark." Rick said.
"We'll go out in the morning. I know these woods." Daryl said as he readjusted his bow.
Carol sat down and Lori and Andrea sat down with her.
Rick walked up to Carl and hugged him, keeping him close.
Daryl walked over to me and put his arms around me and I put my arms around him and hugged him tight. "I'm glad you're back." I whispered into his chest. He didn't answer but he kept hugging me.

Night fell quick and we all slept in our cars. Daryl and I layed on the ground of the RV together. I barley got any sleep, I just heard Carol crying all night and Dale snoring.
When I woke up, I was the only one in the RV. I got dressed and left the RV, seeing everyone gathering around. "What's going on?" I asked.
"Everyone take one of these weapons. Since most of us will be gone , you guys need weapons." Rick said as he pointed to the knifes laying on a table.
"What about guns?" Andrea asked looking directly at Dale and Shane.
"Rick, Daryl, y/n and I are holding onto the guns. We don't need everyone firing." Shane answered.
Everyone continued talking about how they were going to find Sophia.
"Can I come with you guys this time?" I asked.
No one answered at first.
"Y/n is good at tracking. Got a better shot than me too." Daryl said.
Rick nodded his head. "Dale. Watch Carl for me." Rick said.
"I want to come too Dad. Sophias my friend." Carl stepped up.
"I don't see why not." Rick added, letting Carl come with him. "Get this RV started Dale." I said as we all headed into the woods. T dogg and Dale were the only ones staying behind.
We walked through the grass and we all talked.
"Hey, Carl you know how to use a gun?" I asked.
Lori shot me a look.
"No. Can I learn mom?" Carl asked looking up at Lori.
"No. I'm not comfortable with it." Lori quickly said.
"Kid should learn. Maybe in a few months." I added.
"We'll see." Lori said as she put her hand on Carl's shoulder.
All of a sudden, bells started ringing.
"Where's that coming from?" Daryl asked. Rick went in the direction of the bells and we all followed.
We slowly exited the woods and saw a small white church. "Think she's in there?" I asked Daryl.
"Let's find out." He said as he jogged towards the building. At thing time, the bells had stopped.
Everyone ran up to the front door.
"Okay. I'm going to open this. Andrea, Glenn, you guys be ready to shoot. Y/n, get behind this other door." Rick said. I grabbed the other door and Rick and I pulled them both open. Andrea and Glenn didn't shoot, so I guess there were no walkers.
I looked inside and saw the basic church.
There were 3 walkers sitting down.
"Don't use the guns." Rick said as he took Andrea and Glenn's gun back.
I ran up to a walker and stabbed it in the head. Rick and Daryl took out the other two.
We all stood inside looking around for Sophia. There was no sight of her. The bells starting ringing again and Daryl ran outside. I followed him to the side of the church. "On a damn timer." Daryl said as he pointed at the timer on the wall. Glenn walked over and pulled it off, stopping the bells.
"Let's split up." Rick said as he backed away from the church.
"Shane and I will check around here. The rest of you go back. We'll be back in an hour." Rick said.
Carl insisted on going with them. I could tell Lori didn't like it but she gave in and we all headed back.

We all headed back still talking.
Then we heard one single gunshot.
"What was that?" Lori asked. "Gunshot." Daryl quickly answered. "They probably just put down a walker don't worry." Andrea said. I knew Lori was panicking.
What was the gunshot for?
