I still had Judith in my arms, and all I was carrying with me in my backpack was a gun, knife, half a water bottle and a granola bar.
I had to get out, fires and zombies were everywhere.
I ran out the back, where there was a whole in the fence, and circled back to the front.
'Hello!' I yelled in panic, and Judith whimpered.
I couldn't see anyone. We had taken everyone out, including the governor, and there vehicles sat out front. I walked towards the vehicle and opened the front door, finding a can of beans and I took it.
I spun around trying to look for anyone. Just someone.
'Footprints!' I said out loud as I saw foot prints heading to the woods and followed them.
'Shhhh it's okay Judith.' I whispered as I kept following the footprints. 'Shit.' I said as I saw they eventually cut off, and weren't visible anymore.
I looked for destroyed patches in the ground, as that's what Daryl taught me.
The whole ground was messed with. 'We have to find somewhere to stay.' I whispered as my eyes filled up with tears but I blinked them back, staying strong.

1 hour later-
It seemed like I was walking in circles. Judith had been asleep for the past 30 minutes, and eventually I reached train tracks.
'Terminus.' I mouthed out loud as I read a sigh, telling me to head there for safety. I wasn't sure.
I looked down at Judith and at my stomach, I had babies to keep safe. I decided to head there, maybe they had baby food for Judith.
I walked along the train tracks for about an hour.
'It's getting dark.' I said, looking down at Judith who was still sound asleep.
Perfect timing, I said to myself as I saw a house, that looked super abandoned. 'Let's check it out Judith.' I said, and headed towards the house, using my other hand to grip onto my knife. I tapped on the window and waited, and nothing came up.
Seemed empty.
I placed my hand on the door knob and turned, pushing it open. It wasn't touched, but it definitely hasn't been used it a long long time.
I closed the door behind me and locked it, and headed upstairs, looking in every room.
'Fucking perfect!' I whisper shouted and I opened a door to a baby's room. A little crib sat in the corner, and there was a big couch on the other side of the room.
'Here you go.' I whispered as I layed Judith down in the crib, and went into the kitchen.
There was some baby food, and canned food, and everything else was rotten. I stuffed it all in my bag and headed back upstairs, and looked in the parents room.
There was a notebook. It read 'Dear Lindsay- Peter and I are headed up North. Once this virus thing is over, we're coming back. Stay safe!' The rest of the pages were blank.
'Never came back.' I whispered, as I took the notebook and pen into the babies room. I pulled the blinds and covered the window, and locked the door.
I layed on the couch, and began writing.
'I hope you guys are alive. I left with Judith, she was the only one I found. We're safe for now. We found a house and they had some baby food and canned food, and no zombies to clear out. I miss you all.'
I closed the book and looked over at Judith who was still passed out. I closed my eyes and dozed off.

I woke up and Judith was awake, playing with her feet. So cute.
'Good morning babygirl!' I smiled and she giggled as I picked her up. 'Should we keep walkin?' I asked, even though she can't respond.
I grabbed everything I had found in the house, and me and Judith headed back out on the tracks. Judith was getting heavy in my arms and it seemed to go on forever.
Whenever I was losing hope, I kept seeing signs saying Terminus wasn't far ahead and it kept me going. I held Judith close when I saw a plaza close ahead, and decided we could stop there for the night.
I turned into the plaza and saw a bunch of zombies.
'Oh shit.' I whispered.
They all turned to me, and starting walking after me.
I saw a door on the side of a building and bolted inside, thank god it wasn't locked. I locked it behind me and quietly walked up the stairs as zombies started banging on the doors.
Another door was at the top of the stairs and I slowly opened it. It was a pharmacy. Fucking jackpot.
I stepped inside and closed the door behind me.
It seemed there were no zombies inside.
I headed to the back of the pharmacy, in the office, and closed the door, so Judith and I were locked in a small room with no windows.
I sat Judith on the desk, and pulled out the baby food, feeding her a little bit. I ate the granola bar for myself.
After about an hour of sitting in the small room, I decided to check out the pharmacy. All the medicine was pretty much gone, except for some pain killers which I took.
'Food.' I whispered to myself as I saw shelves with some food. Only baby food. There we're baby crackers and other snacks and food for babies. I grabbed a blanket that was on one of the shelves, and found a baby seat, which Judith could sleep in.
I went back to the office, and layed Judith in the seat, and layed down with the blanket.
This place didn't seem to unsafe.
2 weeks later
We had stayed in the pharmacy for 2 weeks, we couldn't leave. Zombies blocked the exits and it was too risky. I had to get to terminus before I had my baby.
Judith and I had been eating baby foods, and crackers for 2 weeks now. It kept Judith strong, but not so much me.
There were some canned foods that I was eating but not too much. Everyday I looked out the window to see if the zombies had cleared out, and they hadn't.
We were stuck.
