I woke up laying on the ground for , hopefully the last night.
"We're heading up when Daryl gets back." Dale said as I stepped out of the RV.
"Got things set up for Sophia in case she finds her way back, and Daryl is still looking for her."
Dale said. "He left without me?" I said.
I told Daryl to wake me up the night before when he wanted to look for her. Guess he didn't get the message.
"Pack your things. We're leaving when your boyfriend gets back." Andrea said.
"He's not..." I hesitated , still unsure of what Daryl and I were.
I went inside the RV and packed up the few things I had left out, and packed my own secret stash of canned food and water bottles.
When I left the RV I saw Daryl walking out of the woods. Still no Sophia.
"I told you to wake me up." I said.
"No point, you ain't slept in a while." Daryl said and he walked right past me. I glanced over at Carol who had tears in her eyes.
I wanted to comfort her, after all I did know how, but it hurt too much to talk about my past. No one knew.
Andrea and Carol set things out for Sophia and wrote on a car, in case she came back.
I followed where Daryl went, which was into the RV.
I could tell Daryl was mad he hadn't found her.
"It's not your fault you know." I whispered but loud enough so he would hear.
"What do you know?" He snapped.
"I know you want to find Sophia and it hurts you that you haven't." I said.
Daryl paused before speaking again and he turned and looked at me, but then looked away.
"She's loosing her daughter. You don't know what that's like." Daryl whispered, angrily.
My eyes filled up with tears thinking about it. I couldn't tell Daryl about my pregnancy at 17.
I had lost my child at 17 when I was only 3 months pregnant, and I never told anyone, besides my boyfriend at the time, that I was even pregnant.
In a way, it was better. I was too young and the kid wouldn't have had a good life. I didn't even love the man who would've been her father.
I blinked, holding back the tears, but one slipped out and I quickly wiped it away.
Daryl turned and looked at me and went to walk away.
"I do." I whispered, my voice breaking.
Daryl stopped walking and looked at me.
"What do you mean?" He whispered, looking me on the eyes. I got chills all over my body, and tears rolled down my cheeks.
Daryl stood in front of me and put his hands on my face, wiping my tears.
"What happened?" He whispered, being kind.
I wiped my tears with my own hand and sat down, and Daryl sat infront of me. "I was 17." I laughed, trying to stop the crying.
"With that loser." I said. Daryl nodded. Daryl and him did not like eachother that's for sure.
"I didn't even love him. He just distracted me from everything I guess." I said. Daryl was always a great listener. I just never talked about this.
"He got me pregnant and- and I lost my baby girl." I said my voice breaking. I put my hands over my face and took a deep breath. Daryl put his hand on my arm and I held my head in my hands.
"I never knew." He whispered.
"No one did except me and him. I lost the baby at 3 months so it wasn't really noticeable." I said calming down.
" I cant believe you didn't tell me." Daryl whispered.
There were many things I didn't tell him.
All he knew was that my parents divorced when I was 12, and before that they were always arguing. My dad used to hit my mom, and threaten Carley and I. He only hit us when we didn't show fear, which in my case, was way more often than Carley. When they divorced my dad moved and we haven't seen him since, and then my mom passed away when I was 15, leaving me with Carley which was torture because she was such a bitch. Oh, and that we were always poor. That's all he knew.
"There's a lot I haven't told you, and I'm sorry." I said.
"You can tell me later. Right now we're gonna go to the farm, see if it's good." Daryl said.
I nodded and got up, swinging my backpack over my shoulder.
"We ready to go?" Dale asked.
Daryl nodded, and went to hop on his motorcycle and I stayed in the RV and other cars started up and we drove.
I stared out the window in silence most of the way, almost shocked I told Daryl.
"Looks like we're here." Andrea said as we pulled up to a white farm house with a lot of land.
There were people outside, and I saw Glenn and Shane first. Shane looked different and I almost laughed seeing his shaved head and overalls.

We pulled up infront of the house and got out of the vehicles. I still had my backpack on my back.
"How is he?" I asked, eager to know if Carl had made it or not.
"He'll be okay.. thanks to Hershel." Lori said, pointing at the old man with white fluffy hair.
"Thanks.. Hershel." I said. Everyone hugged, but I went right inside and peaked my head in the room Carl was in.
He layed in a bed, with a bandage on his stomach. He looked pale, but not too sick. Daryl snuck up behind me and put his hand on my shoulder, almost making me jump.
"He'll be okay." Daryl whispered.
I backed away from the room and headed back outside. Daryl followed. I saw the Maggie girl who had shown up on her horse a couple of days ago. Glenn continued to stare at her.
"They're good people." I said while smiling.
Daryl looked at me and nodded in agreement.
"Maybe we can stay for awhile." Daryl said.
I hoped
