We stopped the car. Only a small group went, it was Daryl, Rick, Michonne, Oscar and I.
We had guns and were prepared to fight, even though that's not what we had planned. We got out of the car and Daryl looked at me. I put a gun in my waist band and looked away from him. Everyone talked as we walked towards Woodbury.
"Y/n." Daryl said as he ran up to my side. I looked at him. "I'm sorry." He whispered. "About?" I asked.
Daryl sighed and didn't answer for a second. "Back at the farm... I ignored you and then you went missing." Daryl answered. I remembered that. "Don't apologize. You were upset about Sophia." I said as we stepped over tree branches.
Daryl nodded but I could tell he didn't agree.
"Guys." Rick whispered and pointed to a cabin in the middle of the woods. Without a word we all headed over to the cabin. There were a few walkers that we all took out. Rick swung open the door and closed it when everyone got in. We walked around and saw a dogs dead body. "Oh god." I whispered.
"Who are you!?" A man yelled as he jumped up from a bed. We all held our guns up. "Are you the police?!" The man yelled. Walkers started hitting on the door.
"Be quiet!" Michonne whisper yelled back.
"Are you the police?!" The man yelled again. We all looked at eachother. How does he have no clue what's going on? "Yes. We're cops." Rick said.
"Show me your badge!" The man demanded. Rick reached into his pocket and without warning shot the guy. Walkers growled even louder at the door.
"Oh shit." I whispered. Daryl looked at me. He was more protective then before, maybe because he thought it was his fault I was lost.
Rick and Michonne looked at eachother.
"Oscar, help." Rick said as he grabbed the mans body. Oscar and Rick hauled the body to the door and threw him out for the walkers.
"It's okay." Daryl whispered to me. "Daryl.. I'm fine." I said back. It came out bitcher than it meant to be.
We snuck out the back as the walkers feasted on his body.
We got away from the cabin and continued walking. It started to get dark but we arrived to Woodbury.
"It's here." I whispered and pointed to the building in the dark. "Come on." Michonne whispered and we followed her.
We snuck in the side, as of Woodbury only had security on the front gates. We entered one of the buildings. "Where are they?" Rick asked Michonne.
"They could be in his apartment." Michonne said.
"You're not helping." Daryl snapped at her, still whispering. "Daryl." I said, and Daryl looked away.
We left the building and entered the other one.
"They're in there!" I whisper shouted. I saw Glenn and Maggie with bags over their heads. Without a warning, Rick threw a smoke bomb and the people from Woodbury started yelling.  We all ran in and Daryl started shootings some of Woodbury's people. I grabbed Glenn's arm and Rick grabbed Maggie's. Glenn's face was bleeding and swollen. "Go!" Oscar shouted and we all ran out and into the other building. "We gotta go, they're definitely looking for us now." Rick said. Daryl shot me a worried look.
"I'm staying. I need to see Merle." Daryl said, still looking at me.
"I need you." Rick whispered. "We can come back Daryl." I said to him. Daryl nodded. We all crammed into an alley between buildings and Daryl threw more smoke bombs. We left the alley and Rick was shooting some guards. We ran over to the truck and Oscar hopped ontop, helping Glenn up, since Glenn could barley walk. Rick and Daryl continued shooting. I lifted Maggie up and she got in the truck. As I was about to lift myself up, Oscar got shot.
"Oscar!" I called out but he was already dead. I pushed him off the truck and hauled myself up. Maggie bent over the truck and shot Oscar so he didn't turn. "Rick!" Maggie called. Rick stopped shooting and ran over to the truck. "Where's Michonne?" Rick asked. I looked around and didn't see her. "Daryl!" I called. "Go without me!" Daryl yelled back and they did. "No! Don't leave him!" I yelled, and Maggie held onto me. "Daryl!" I shouted again. We drove out of Woodbury. I pushed out of Maggie's arms and opened the door of the truck and jumped out. It probably wasn't smart. "Y/n!" Maggie yelled, but they continued driving. I landed on the ground and smacked my knee really hard but got up and kept walking. It took me about 15 minutes to walk back with my knee but when I got there it was quiet. I snuck in the way we did before and hid in an alley way, trying to watch why everyone was crowding around. I saw the governor walk out with an eye patch and I instantly knew Michonne had tried to kill him.
The governor gave a little speech and I still looked around for Daryl and almost tuned out what the governor was saying. "Merle." I heard the governor say.
I tried to look at what was happening. I heard something about fighting. I stood on a few bricks and saw Merle and Daryl standing in the middle of the circle. I saw Andrea staring at Daryl. She remembered him. All of a sudden the crowd starting yelling. I couldn't hear what they were saying. I debated if I should start shooting but knew I would instantly get killed or get them killed. All of a sudden I saw walkers get brought out as Merle and Daryl were forced to fight. "Shit." I whispered to myself.
I pulled my gun out and as soon as I did someone else started shooting. I looked up and saw Maggie shooting people. Everyone started screaming, and Rick started throwing in smoke bombs.
I ran out of the alley and started shooting.
"Merle! Daryl!" I called. They both heard me and ran towards me and I started shooting again as we ran out of the gates and into the truck with Rick and everyone.
"Merle isn't coming with us!" Rick shouted as we ran up the street. "Yes he is, now is not the time!" I yelled back. Rick didn't put up a fight and we walked into the woods. We stopped running and Daryl looked at me. "I'm glad you're okay." I said to him. Daryl nodded. It started to get light outside as we made our way back to our car where Glenn and Michonne sat, both injured. "Glenn!" Rick calmed as we got closer. Michonne and Glenn turned around and smiled but soon stopped when they saw Merle.
"What's he doing here?" Glenn asked, clearly not impressed. Michonne pulled her sword out.
"He tried to kill me!" She yelled. Merle laughed.
"Everyone, enough!" Rick shouted. Merle continued making the situation worse, to where no one wanted him back at the prison. "Merle, just shut up!" I yelled. "No! You're all just a bunch of pussies and-" Merle said before Rick hit him in the head, knocking him out immediately. We all went silent. We dragged Merle to the car and Michonne sat there infront of him.
Rick signalled for us to follow him and we all walked over in a circle. "He's not coming back to the prison." Glenn stated. "Not with Beth and Carol there." Glenn said again. "He's ain't no rapist." Daryl said, sticking up for Merle.
"The governor is." Glenn said. I looked at Maggie's face and was disgusted. I wonder what the governor did to her. "There's no debate. He's not coming back." Maggie said. "So we leave him out here to die?" I asked, almost a rhetorical question.
"We aren't bringing him back." Glenn said again.
"Fine." Daryl said. "I'll leave with him." Daryl said again. I was almost shocked that Daryl would leave.
"Daryl." I said, looking at him.
"There has to be another way." Rick said, trying to calm everyone down.
"There ain't. You guys go back." Daryl said again, walking off, but Rick and I followed him.
"If you go Im not coming." I said. Daryl stopped walking and looked at me. "Fine." He said and kept walking.
"Daryl think about this." Rick demanded, but Daryl kept walking. Merle walked into the woods.
Daryl opened the trunk. "Don't ask me to leave him. I already did once." Daryl said.
"Are you serious? Don't make me make this choice. I've already left you and Merle." I said. Daryl grabbed a few things out of the trunk and closed it.
"Then if you're smart, you'll come with us." Daryl said, opening his backpack and shoving the things in.
I looked over at Rick and he got the idea that I needed to talk to Daryl alone, and he walked off.
"You told me you couldn't lose me." I said. Daryl looked me in the eyes. "And now you're doing it on your own." I said, tears filling my eyes. I looked at the ground to not cry. "Yep." Daryl said, walking up in the woods to Merle. He looked back at me and tears fell from my eyes but I quickly wiped them off.
"Let's go." I yelled.
I hoped in the car and everyone else got in without saying a word.
We drove back and I noticed new people were inside.
"Dad!" Carl yelled and jumped into Ricks arms once the gate was open. Carol closed it.
"These people needed help. It's up to you if they stay or not." Carol said and Rick nodded.
"Where's Daryl?" Carol asked looking around. "He left with Merle." Rick said, clearly upset. "And you let him?" Carol asked, her voice breaking.
"It's what he wanted who cares." I said as I went inside the prison. I sat in my cell block and wondered why Daryl would just leave me like that.
I sat in my cell for hours. Everyone else talked and Rick talked to the new people.
I heard screaming and it sounded like Rick in pain. He was yelling get out. I ran over and saw Rick yelling at the new people. "We'll leave man." The guy whose name was Tyreese said. "Nobody has to get shot." His sister, Sasha said. Rick didn't seem like he was talking to them though. Everyone else looked scared. I ran beside Carl and the new group left immediately. "He's hallucinating Carl." I whispered and Carl nodded, acting tough.
Rick left the room after the group left and everyone talked about what happened. I went up to my cell and Carl followed.
"I'm sorry Carl." I said as I reached my cell. "About what?" Carl asked. "Your mom. And what you had to do." I said. Carl looked at the ground. "I had to. I did what I had to do." Carl answered. He was a tough kid.
"I know." I said back. "I'm glad you came back. Even though Daryl isn't here right now, while you were gone he wasn't doing good." Carl told me.
"You should go to bed now." I told Carl and and he nodded and ran off.
I layed in my cell, thinking about everything. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep but it was even harder tonight.
