Chapter 27

"Kamusta naman ang bakasyon, fren?"

I am with Bernadette now and classes are back to normal. After the month-long break ay balik na kami sa realidad. We're currently taking our lunch break at the cafeteria and we are with Kendric, too. 

I wonder if there is something between them but I think there is not.

New semester started, too. It just means bago nanaman ang mga units namin per day at new schedule na rin. Luckily, nadagdagan ang mga klase ko with Bernadette this time kaya mas makakasama ko siya nang mas madalas. 

Gavin and I spent Christmas and New Year together at the condo. We just celebrated it together because our friends went home to their parents. We didn't cooked some dishes, instead we just went outside and ate dinner with other people celebrating holidays with their partners.

Umuwi lang kami sa mga bahay namin for a week bago ang klase. My family is at good state maging si Brittany na kaya ng gumapang. I think she will be a smart little kid kahit may kulang sa kaniya. 

We also brought Gavin, my dog, into the condo unit para naman hindi masyadong malungkot sa loob ng bahay. I also changed his name into Gabby, para hindi na malito si Gavin kung sino ang tinatawag ko. 

It's a bit awkward for me now dahil sa nangyari at his birthday. He always tease with what happened and I'm a bit conscious and embarrassed dahil first time ko lang naman 'yon. He will always bring up the topic kahit sa call namin. 

I remembered him telling me I'm good for a first-timer. I fired back with asking him if it is his first time dahil magaling din ang ginawa niya that time. We both laughed when he said he learnt it from watching some videos. 

"Kamusta na  ba 'yan?" She stared at my jeans. "Ang tagal mo namang walang dilig, sis," kutya sa akin ni Badet. She always tease me with my virginity, mukha ba akong pokpok for her? 

"You know what? Just eat." I sounded strict. "Napakaechosera mo." I rolled my eyes and picked my pork with fork. Ken was just laughing at the both of us. 

"Ikaw ba Ken, how's vacation?" Usisa ni Badet kay Kendric na tahimik lang na kumakain sa gilid. Kendric just smiled simply and ate the final chop of his meat. 

"Maayos naman. Single pa rin ako." He acted sad and devastated but Bernadette just laughed at him. "Wala bang reto diyan, miss?" He said again. 

"Gagi, pre, ako din wala pang landi. Feel ko tuloy ayaw pa sa'kin nung nilalandi ko." Badet tried to pout but he look cringe with it. We laughed at her expression making her frown. 

We talked a lot about the vacation we did and I still didn't talked about what happened between me and Gavin. I am still not ready for that. 

After our lunch, we just finished our last subjects before going home. Gabby welcomed me with his wagging tail. Hinayaan nalang namin siyang maglibot sa buong bahay since mabait naman siya with Gavin.
