I look at my left, to the source of the voice and found Park Seonghwa standing about 5 steps away from the bench. I then asked him instead of answering,

"Shouldn't I ask you the same question? Won't your company or manager scold you for being outside at uhhh.... 10:53 at night?" I had my phone in my jacket and I pulled it out to check the time as I talked to him. He scoffed and said,

"Well, ladies first."

I scoffed at his mere display of chivalry, which caused me to remember whatever happened in my apartment.

I couldn't say all that to Seonghwa. It'll be awkward if the younger friend that I like knew that my unwanted fiancé-to-be is now in my apartment, shirtless.
