38: Oops & WHAT!!

But then I heard a too familiar voice ask me as it sent chills down my spine and increased my heartbeat.

"Men are always like what, noona?"

I look behind me almost slowly, like in comedy movies when a girlfriend gets caught red handed by her boyfriend while insulting or cheating on her boyfriend, and find Seonghwa, Hongjoong and Mingi standing together, with angry pouts and disappointed looks expressing their hurt in the open. My mind shouted,

Oops! I'm toast now!

I put on a guilty grin and replied, trying to remember when did these two actually walked by me and also got Hongjoong with them,

"Guys, uuh... you're here. I didn't notice you come in. Mingi, you're here with Hwa today?"

Mingi gave me a disappointed look and said,

"Noona, what did you mean by what you just said?"

I hesitated and replied while scratching my nape awkwardly,

"Uhh... I..I mean men sometimes behave wierd weird and harsh around girls. They don't show a damn of what the person in front of them is feeling by their actions. They just do whatever they want."

Mingi then said with a hurt expression and eyes,

"Noona!!! How could you even think about us that way?!!"

AAAH!!! MY LITTLE MINMIN IS DISAPPOINTED!!! SOMEONE KILL ME!!!

I ran to him and gave him a tight hug. My subconscious mind immediately went,

Thank God you wore the high heel boots today. Or else, it would've looked as if I'm not his noona, but his younger sister against the 185 cm giant.

I then said in a very sincere and apologetic tone,

"No, Mingi-ya! I was talking about others. You're not like others. You're my cute, sweet and beloved dongsaeng! ("Younger brother/ sibling" in Korean) I know none of you nine would ever do anything like that to any girl in your life, will you? Huh?"

Then I, without any valid reason, placed my hand on Mingi's cheek, to which he tried not to blush to and failed greatly, trying to make himself look manly. Then I also gave a tickle at his ticklish spot, which caused him to give that wide mothed cute smile of his which causes me to want to pinch his cheeks.

I then turned to Seonghwa and Hongjoong to see that they also started to laugh. I said,

"And it also goes for the both of you. And don't you know that sneaking up on others' back and eavesdropping is a bad manner?"

Hongjoong shrugged and replied with a careless look,

"Well, I was feeling curious about what you and your friend were talking about, like these two. So, we couldn't help it."
