43: The SNS Conversation

It is 7:05 PM in the night. I was now in the cafe after checking all the inventory and teaching all the duties up to Bomin.

It has been a few days since that day at the party. I have been avoiding Seonghwa everyday as I felt embarrassed by whatever happened in that room. I wanted to kill myself as soon as I remembered it all after a good night's rest.

So, whenever I saw him walk in, I would pass on the counter to Hongjoong or Bomin and walk away in the kitchen or the washroom. I just felt way too weird to face him.

As I thought about it all, suddenly I got a notification in my SNS chatroom. I checked and there were 3 pics from Seonghwa.

The first one was of the honey rice cake box I packed for him beforehand, second one was of his own selfie with the box and a cute smile, and the last one was another selfie of him eating a honey rice cake with a pair of chopsticks.

I couldn't help giggling at the sheer amount of sweetness and cuteness the pictures had within himself.

He then said,

I haven't even talked with him on SNS. I always chatted with him since the day I met him 3 years ago. And as you may not have known, but he never calls me "Noona" in our personal SNS chatroom. And I never minded it.

Because every time he sent a cheeky message, I would turn into a messy hormonal trash high school nerd who feels like being on cloud nine when her high school big time crush replies to her message.

But being close to all of them, I knew they all had rehearsals, practices and school. So, I would always have to put a gigantic stone on my heart and end our chat for him to continue with his routine.

But after ending the chat every time, I would turn into a teenage girl who just ruined something precious to her and keeps withering, cringing and squealing furiously in her bed.
