17: The Drive To The Cliff

The lectures ended. I was leaving after giving Taehyung a nice long hug and told him I'm fine. He promised that he'll come by the cafè later.

As soon as I stepped outside the campus, a navy blue Mercedes came speedily and drifted to a stop just a fem centimetres in front of me. I was taken aback by its speed and sudden stop, which caused me to fall on the ground by my knees. I thought it may have killed me.

Well, that would've been better for me to die and leave the world now than suffering like this all the time.

Then a lean, tall man walked out of the car and came in front of me. He pulled me up by my shoulders to stand up. After finding my ground, I looked up to see the person I wanted to see the least right now.

Before I could say anything to him, he pulled me by my left hand's wrist to the shotgun seat of the car and spoke emotionlessly after opening the door for me,

"Get in the car, Now."

I didn't want to see him or talk to him. And he is not someone who has the right to order me around. So, I didn't respond to him for one second and turned on my heels to walk away from him. But someone suddenly held my left wrist and pulled me backwards by force.

It was him again.

He then forcefully sat me in the seat and then kept leaning in closer to me. My heart started beating as fast as a bullet train. As his face kept coming closer to mine, I was internally panicking as I held in my breath and my hands had balled into fists.

But then suddenly, as his face was just a few inches away from mine, it went right past my face and his hands then clasped my seatbelt to the seat. I was feeling butterflies in my stomach. I didn't know or couldn't point out why I felt like that. I hated this guy for everything and above everything right now.

As I thought about it, he had moved away from me and had closed the door beside me. In a few seconds, he was also in the driver's seat and started to drive the car. It was so much speed that I could not cope up with it and almost fainted.

After a while, the car came to a stop. I felt the car door open and close following the sound of another car door open. It was the door beside me.

My hands immediately travelled its way to the seatbelt's buckle. As I was still feeling dizzy by the speed, it took me a while to be able to open the seatbelt and I was taking wobbly steps as I stepped out of the car.

I looked around to see that he had drove me to some mountain cliff. It was very high and had some trees around it, which were giving a dark shadow by the rays of the setting sun.
