Chapter 15; Uh Oh

Your P.O.V
Garnet turns around after pulling me behind her for a while
"(y/n), you know that nothing he said was true right?" she says leaning down to me
"Uh, yeah, i guess" i say
"I'm serious (y/n), nothing he said was true, you're not disgusting or disgraceful, you are amazing and beautiful and are worthy, please don't listen to him, we, the Gems and Steven and I, all believe you're incredible" Garnet explains
"Thank you Garnet, i needed to hear that...." i say happily.

Garnet and i arrived back at home, we walk in to see Steven in his room watching T.V, and Pearl and Amethyst talking on the couch
"(y/n)! You're back, how did your visit with your dad go? How is he doing? Is he getting better?" Pearl asks
"U-um, yeah, he's doing.... He's doing fine, the visit was fine..... Everything is fine" I say, walking into the bathroom, everyone's eyes following me until the door is shut

Garnet's P.O.V
(y/n) walks into the bathroom. Pearl turns to me, Amethyst does too, Steven is still looking in the direction of the bathroom worried
"What happened Garnet? Is (y/n) ok? Did something happen at her visit?" Pearl asks me
"Yeah, she's doing that thing again where she distances herself again" Amethyst adds
"Her dad had said some pretty mean stuff to her, I'm.... not going to say what he had said, I'm going to leave that to (y/n), I'm sure she'll tell you when she's ready. Anyways, it really got to her so just, be careful when you're around her, she's pretty sensitive right now and needs our support, ok?" I explain
"Ok" Steven, Amethyst and Pearl all agree

Your P.O.V
I come out of the bathroom, after crying, wiping my eyes quickly for the fifth time, making sure to hide any sign I've cried. I look up to see everyone looking at me concerned
"What? I-is there something on me?" I ask nervously, hoping they don't realise or know
Garnet clears her throat and Pearl, Amethyst and Steven quickly avoid eye contact with me
"N-no, there's nothing on you (y/n), you look.. fine" Pearl says, still avoiding eye contact
"U-um, o-ok.... i-I'm just gonna.. go" i say, walking to the door nervously.
I walk down the stairs, when i get down to the last step i realise, i have no idea where I'm going, or where to go. I fall back onto the step and sit down, i lean my head in my hand and sigh loudly. I hear footsteps behind me, i turn around to see Steven
"Oh, um, hey Steven" I greet Steven
"Hi (y/n), um.. Are you ok?" Steven asks me
"Um, yeah, I'm fine" I say
"(y/n)..... I have to be honest.... Garnet told us your dad said some mean stuff to you, she wouldn't tell us what he said before you panic too much, so, are you really ok?" Steven says
I feel my eyes fill with tear. One tear falls, then the next, and another, and another, until I'm sobbing
"N-no, i-I'm really not Steven, i-I've been trying to hold it in because Garnet is already mad enough a-a-and she tried so h-hard to cheer me up b-but what h-he said r-r-really got to me S-Steven, he c-called me dis-disgusting and d-disgraceful and a-all sort o-of m-m-mean s-st-stuff, i-it r-really h-h-hurt m-me St-Steven" I say through my sobs
He looks at me with this sad face, and he quickly hugs me tightly
"It's ok (y/n), I've got you, I've.. got you, it's going to be ok, we're here for you (y/n)" Steven reassures me, refusing to stop hugging me
"It's just, I want to hate him for saying that to me, I want to get him out of my life, I want to hate him for the rest of my life.... but I can't.. he's my father, I've known him my whole life, he raised me Steven, how can I hate the person who raised me, looked after me, who is my father? How Steven?" I say through my sobs
"I don't know (y/n), I really don't know" Steven says sadly, not knowing what to do or say
"I-i need a break, i-I'm just going to go for a w-walk or something" I say to Steven, backing away slowly
"Oh, um ok, I'll see you back at home i guess?" Steven says in a questioning voice
"Yeahh, see ya" i respond, not stopping.
I walk around for a while, mainly in side streets and places not many people walk around. I stop when i hear a clink from the floor when i step, i look down to see a beer bottle. It's still got quite a bit beer in it, i bend down and pick it up and look at it intensely
"Some people are disgusting, literally and leaving glass bottles on the street" i say, still staring at it
I bring the mouth of the bottle to my nose and sniff it, i look around for anyone, i'm in an empty street, i shrug and quickly chug the most of the beer
"Yuck! It's.... bitter? And kinda of tangy, but kind of.. nice? I guess i can see why dad was always drinking it" i say to myself, quickly taking another chug to it
"Heheheheheh, it makes my head all funny" i slur, I'm obviously getting a bit drunk, but i'm still aware of what i'm going
I finally chug down all of the beer, i drop the bottle on the ground and it smashes
"Oh, whOOpsy daisy" i slur, wobbling around
I begin to walk away wobblily, having no idea where i'm going or what i'm doing anymore.
After walking for a bit i run into someone
"Oh my goshness, i'm sorry, heheh, i didn't mean to bums into you" i slur, tumbing around like an idiot
"(y/n)? Are you ok? You look a bit, drunk?" The man says
"I'm *hiccup* fi-" i try to say but i fall to the ground, hitting my head a tiny bit of a pole behind me
"Goodness, are you ok!? Here, let me help you up" The man say, holding his hand out
I look up to see Mr. Universe holding his hand out
"Th-tha- *hiccup* -nks" i slur
"(y/n), y-you kind of smell like.. beer, what have you been doing?" Mr. Universe asks me worried
"Heheheheheheheh, you're never gonna believe this, some dummy left a half full bottle of beer just on the street, so i kinda drunk it, cool right?" I explain, i immediately cover my mouth with my hands
"Whoopsy daisy, i wasn't supposed to tell you that~" i say in a sing-song way
"Shhh, just don't tells everyone" i slur
"Yeah that's not going to happen, i need to take you back to the gems and have them sort you out, you can't be in public like this, some people aren't good and will take advantage of you" Mr. Universe says, putting my arm around his shoulder and guiding me back to the Temple.
Once we get to the Temple Mr. Universe puts me onto one of the chairs near the window, he rushes to the door and bangs on the door vigorously, the door opens suddenly but by then i was almost out of it. The last thing i see is Garnet, Steven, Pearl and Amethyst rushing towards me (in that order)
Everything goes black and hazy and i pass out
