Chapter 9; Am I Ready?

Author note: I've decided to speed up where in Steven Universe is, so in the few days in between Chapter 5; Everything Changes and Chapter 6; Whoops.....
So here's what's happening
It's now start of Season 3 (this is where Alexandrite has that massive fight with Malachite and Lapis and Jasper defuse, This chapter is specifically set in Season 3 Episode 1. The Gems and Steven (because they didn't want to move you after so close after your dad being arrested, which was mostly Garnet's but also kinda Steven's idea) don't stay at the barn, instead they go there during the day, mostly Pearl, Steven half the time to stop any conflicts between Pearl and Peridot (which you haven't actually properly met yet) or to just be there and have fun, Garnet goes a few times when she needs or wants to, and Amethyst (because she doesn't really help much anyways) doesn't really go to the barn to help. You don't go because you want to stay close to the ocean where you feel at peace.
In this chapter I will be doing Season 3 Episode 1 Super Watermelon Island, how you experienced it.
Steven, Pearl, Garnet and Amethyst are doing test runs at the barn and you decided to stay and roam about Beach City

<~~2 Days Later~~>
It's been 2 days until that night i discovered my powers, i still have no control over my powers, sometimes when i look my arms or hands i accidentally use my powers but i can't do it on purpose yet and i still have no control over what i do or when i do it. The Gems are all doing drill test runs at the Barn, they always talk about this Peridot that lives there and mostly works on the drill, with Pearl, she sounds really funny and I'd like to meet her but i can't handle leaving Beach City quite yet.
I walk around Beach City, hoping i don't run into that man from a few days ago. My stomach rumbles and it aches a bit, i grasp it
'I need some food'
I look around for somewhere that sells food. I spot a fry shop and walk over, no one is at the counter, i knock on the frame of the window and someone shoots up from under the counter, i get really scared because he looks like that guy from 3 days ago, i jump and end up falling to the ground
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, i didn't mean to scare you, are you ok? Did you injure anything?" The boy ask, he leans over the counter and holds his hand out to help me up
"Oh, n-no, I'm o-ok, heh, you just surprised me is all, s-sorry. Oh th-thank you" i say, taking his hand
He pulls me up and he blushes a tiny bit, as he stands behind the counter and i stand in front of it, he looks me up and down, noticing everything about me
"Hey, you're the new girl that hangs out with Steven, i see you walk around with him a lot, do you live here in Beach City?" He asks
"I actually live with Steven now, my dad, he.... uh, he had to go out of town for a while, so i live with Steven till my dad gets..... gets back" i explain
"Oh. Well I'm Peedee, it's nice to meet you" Peedee introduces him, he hold his hand out again, this time to shake mine
"I-I'm (y/n)" i introduce myself back, taking his hand and shakes it, he looks down at our touching hands and blushes a bit, then looks straight back up at me quickly and kind of nervously
"Sooo, what can i get for ya?" He asks, leaning again
"Um, j-just a pack of chips thanks" i respond
"No problem, is that all you want?" He checks
"Yeah, th-that's all" i hold my stomach as i say, it growls loudly
"You sound really hungry, I'll get started on your chips right away" he says with a soft smile
"H-hey, i have to a-ask, you look like someone I-I've around town, d-do you have an older b-brother?" I ask, extremely nervous
Peedee turns back to me and looks at me a little confused
"Uh yeah, Ronaldo, he's kinda strange and into weird stuff, he's got a blog, Keep Beach City Weird, he investigates the 'paranormal' and sometimes he can get really into what he's investigating, but he's still alright i guess" Peedee explains
"O-oh, thanks, c-can you get started on my food now, I'm kinda starving here" i say with a fake smile
"Of course" Peedee says with a smile, and he goes and cooks my chips
'He's still alright you guess......i wouldn't say that, he needs to learn his manners and to not just lift someone's shirt on the street or anywhere really' i think to myself as i hold my stomach.
Peedee hands me a basket of chips and i pay him
"Thanks Peedee, I'll see you around?" I ask him
"Of course" he replies, a soft smile on his face and a blush on his cheeks
'For someone who are bloody related, he's not at all like Ronaldo, that I've seen so far anyways' i think to myself as i go and sit at a bench
I finish my food and get up from the bench, i put my rubbish in the bin (because littering is baddd :D) and continue walking around Beach City.
I find myself at the end of the Funland Dock. I sit down, legs dangling over the water, and stare into the ocean, wondering if I'll ever be able to control my powers.
Suddenly, I'm brought back into reality when i see the ocean shaking, not because of the waters but like ripples, the seem to be coming from far far away. Something's wrong.
The ripples become stronger and bigger, creating big waves that only seem to be getting bigger and more dangerous. I need to get everyone off this dock right now!
"Everyone!! Get off this dock right now!! It's dangerous, there are massive waves that are only getting bigger and more dangerous heading towards us!! If the waves get any more bigger it's going to damage this dock and endanger all of you!!!" I shout at everyone, running around, trying to be heard
"What do you know about waves little girl? You're just a kid" some guy talks back
I look back at him, and grow furious, i stomp towards him, the waves getting stronger with every step i take
"I can tell you right now old man, i know if you don't get off this dock and onto the secure ground far away from the beach, you're gonna get hurt, or worse, die, so unless you want to get hurt or die, you better get your butt off. this. dock. right. now!!!" I shout at him, getting closer and close, he backs away with every step i get closer to him, a wave splashes over the dock and sprays people
"Get off this dock now!!!" I yell
Everyone runs off the dock, including the guy i yelled at
"Ok, now about the people on the rides still. The wave had short-circuited the rides and made them stop, so no one can get off..... oh jeez, the roller coasters are getting unstable, they need to get off now" i say to myself "it's now or never...." i continue
I run over to the side of the dock, i hold my hand over the water, take a deep breath, close my eye, and hope.
When i open my eyes, i see a pool of water floating over my hand, in mid-air. I have control over it
"I-i did it!! I have control over this water!" I say amazed with myself
I hover the water over to the roller coaster, next to the roller coaster cart
"Everyone, lift the bars and jump into the water, I've got you! The rails are getting unstable and you're gonna come crashing down any second, trust me!" I yell
One by one every jumps onto the pool of water I'm control
Once everyone is out of the roller coaster i bring the water now and let it go, everyone ran off the dock.
As far as i could tell, i was the only one left on the dock, everyone was safe
"Everyone safe...... now to try to stop the waves from destroying our beach...... this'll be fun" i say to myself, worried.
I see a giant wave come towards the dock where i stand. I knew this was my moment to see what i could really do.
I get myself in a ready position, my legs spread, my left leg to slight left in front of me, my right leg at a slight right behind me, both knees bent, both arms up, like a boxer does, i prepare myself. I take a deep breath in, my face scrunched up looking kind of angry but mostly determined, i let out my breath, the wave gets closer. I put my arms up, my hands facing the wave, above my head.......
