Chapter 11; Where to live?

This chapter is set in Season 3 Episode 3, it has changes from the original Episode because the choice you had made effected it but it's mostly the same

Your P.O.V
We reach Empire City
"It's so bright here, and noisy" Lapis comments
"Yeah, if you lived here, you could get a cool apartment and be a single gem taking on the big city, you'd have a fun cafe job and come home to a crazy roommate" i explain, almost dancing around in the sky
"Firstly i have no idea what you're talking about, secondly i don't think I'm quite comfortable with that idea (y/n)" Lapis says
"Wait, what's that shadow-y place over there?" Lapis asks me pointing to a city covered in smog
"That's Jersey, i think you'd like it there, the people seem to hate the Earth too" i say cheekily
"Quit flying in our sky, ya mocks!" Some guy says, throwing 2 shoes at us, one at Lapis and 1 at me
We dodge them, Lapis puts her hand over her mouth and makes a fart noise and i stick my tongue out and make a fart noise as well.
We laugh and fly away, we go up above the clouds
"wowww, Lapis it's so beautiful up here!" i say looking around with stars in my eyes
"it's alright, i guess i can see why you like it" she says cheekily
"hey, i'll race ya!" she says
"you're on!" i say, not backing away from a race even tho i still can't fly well
she flies super fast, through the clouds, while i struggle to keep up
she stops and turns back to me
"i win" she says
"yeah yeah, you win" i say, i look down and see the ocean
"hey look, we made it all the way to the ocean, i wonder how far out we far" i say happily
Lapis suddenly stops as she sees something
"Lapis? are you ok?" i ask
"oh! yeah, sorry.... i'm sorry" she says
we fly down to some sort of weird patterned rock island thing that has lots of warps on it
Lapis walks over to the biggest and tallest warp thats right in the middle of this rock island thing
"this is where i was abandoned..." she starts
"what-what happened?" i ask her nervously
the water begin to lift around us, it splashes me on the face and the water covers the rock island thing and the warps
Lapis walks up to the biggest warp as the water covers it, i follow her carefully
She holds her hand over the warp and the water turns into a kind of mirror, i turn and look at her and she has glass like eyes
"It was thousands of years ago" she begins
She uses the mirror to kind of show me what happened
"I was only meant to visit for a short time, but i got caught in the middle of a war. It was awful. I tried to run but"
I see a gem poof her, i look at the 'video' shocked and Lapis continues
"I was picked up by a Homeworld solider and confused for a Crystal Gem, and used as a tool"
I watch as i see her gem placed on a mirror
"They would ask me 'show us your base' and 'where is your leader?', i didn't know and i couldn't say 'I'm not one of them'. It soon became clear that there was no hope in stopping the rebellion. All of the Homeworld gems fled, in all the panic of escaping Earth, i was left behind. And there i stayed, freedom in my sight but out of reach for ages, until i was found" she tells me, the last thing i see what Pearl picking up the mirror Lapis was trapped in, before Lapis collapses and the water falls
"Are you ok Lapis?" I say, rushing to help her up
"I'll be..... fine, (y/n)... let me escort you back" she says, looking at me as stands up
"Are you sure? I can get back myself" i ask her
"I'm sure, i just wanna get outta here" she tells me
We both pull out our water wings and head off
"For a moment... i really felt like things were different, but they're not. No matter where i go, I'm trapped" she confesses, refusing to open her eyes as we fly
"But, you're not. You're not stuck underwater fused to Jasper, you're not in that mirror. You're free!"i explain to her
"But I'm still on the Earth" she says back
"True, but nothing is still on Earth, everything is constantly changing, the plants, the seasons, the people, even me. I used to be so scared of everything and i was always so powerless, i was so unsure of myself and thought i deserved every bad thing i got but i don't, i didn't. This isn't the same world you were trapped in, not anymore. And i know it doesn't feel like home yet, but maybe with time, that will change too" i say to her
We get back to the barn and we land safely back on the ground in front of the barn, the sun is beginning to set, we've been out all day, everyone has already gone home
"Look, i know you can't go back to Homeworld, but if you stay here, it'll be your choice to stay here" i say, handing her the leaf i had picked off the tree, she takes it and looks at it intently
"It's funny, for all the time i spent here on Earth, i barely got to see any of it" she says to me not taking her eyes off the leaf i gave her
"That's not funny, that's really sad Lapis" i say worried
She looks to the meadow, the wind blowing on the grass and trees as the sun sets, everything looks so beautiful
"I-i want to see it" she says to me happily
"Really?" I say excited
She turns to me
"I want to stay here" she says smiling
"In the barn? Here here!?" I say, getting even more excited
"Yeah, here here" Lapis says, smiling wider
"Yes, hear hear everybody. Now what're we talking about?" Peridot says walking up behind us
"You!?" Lapis says shocked
"(y/n), nice to see you again, where did you go? Lazuli, nice to see you up and about" Peridot says
"What're you doing here!?" Lapis says, sounding angry
"This is my new home away from Homeworld!" Peridot says joyfully
"No it's not, it's mine! Right (y/n)?" Lapis says offended, she turns to you
"Umm...... oh no" i say nervously
