Chapter 20; Bis..muth?

Your P.O.V
It's late into the morning, Steven is already up and about, Amethyst is in the kitchen, naturally, and Pearl and Garnet are off somewhere doing their own thing, and I've only just woken up.
I get ready for the day. Have a shower, get dressed, brush my hair, have breakfast, and brush my teeth. I sit on the couch, my head resting in my right hand with my elbow leaning on my right knee, I'm bored out of my mind
"What to do? What to do? Hmmm....... hey Steven! I'm bored, whatcha wanna do?" I ask
"Well, i was going to play video games later and try to beat my high score, do you want to play with me?" He asks
"I don't really feel like playing video games today" I state
"Do you want to watch then?" He suggests
"No thanks, i think i might just fly around town or something, maybe I'll go visit Peedee, see what he's up to" I say
"Ok, have fun!" Steven says, waving at me as i walk out.
I get to Beach Citywalk Fries and see that Ronaldo is working at the counter today
"Where's Peedee?" I immediately ask him, not even bothering to say hello to this creep, i'm still upset over him lifting my shirt to inspect me
"He's taking the day off, I'm sure he's somewhere around here though" Ronaldo explains
"Great, thanks, see ya!" I quickly say, rushing off as soon as i got my answer
After a while i spot him at the Arcade. I fly over to him
"Hey Peedee!" I say excited, he jumps at my suddenness
"Oh, hello (y/n), i didn't see you there, what're you doing here?" Peedee asks
"Hey Peedee, i was wondering if you wanted to hang out on your day off, I kinda want another friend other then Steven and the Gems, they're cool but i live with them and Connie is more Steven's friend then mine, i want my own friend, not someone else's, you know?, besides, you seem really cool and nice" I explain
"Sure, I'll be your friend, and of course we can hang out, what do you wanna do?" Peedee says
"Let's go to Funland! I've been dying to go ever since that day i saved it!!" I say excited
"Wait, you saved Funland!?" Peedee says confused
"Yeah but I'll tell you that story another day, let's go to Funland, pleaseeee!!" I say again more excited
Peedee's face soften and a small blush appears on his cheekbones as he looks at how excited I'm getting
"Anything you want (y/n)" He says sweetly
I jump up and down in excitement and quickly grabbed Peedee's wrist and dragged him behind me.
We get to the Funland entrance
"What should we do first!?" I say excitedly, jumping on the spot
"Anything that'll make you happy" Peedee says gently, smiling gently at me
<~~ Time Skip ~~>
After going on the Rollercoaster, and the House Of Mirrors and the Carousel and Merry-Go-Round and finally the Teacups
Peedee and I stop to rest for a minute
"So, i think we've had enough of the.. exciting.. ride, how about something slow and calm?" Peedee suggests, putting his hand over his heart, feeling it beat extremely fast and hard
"How about the Ferris Wheel? The view is always amazing from there, it's better at sunset but it's still beautiful in the middle of the day" I say
Peedee nods his head and we head over to the Ferris Wheel
"2 for the Ferris Wheel please Mr Smiley" I say
"No problem. You two kids on a date?" Mr Smiley asks us as he gets the Ferris Wheel passenger cart ready
"Oh no, w-we're not on a date, w-we're not a c-couple" Peedee quickly defends
"Yeah, we're just hanging out and having fun" I add
"Oh.. ok" Mr Smiley says awkwardly
He opens the passenger cart gate and Peedee and I walk in, and the Ferris Wheel starts back up and we begin moving.
I look down at the ocean, watching the waves, my hair flowing in the wind. I feel someone staring at me so i turn around to see Peedee looking at me, he sees that I've noticed him and quickly attempts to make it look like he wasn't looking at me
"Peedee? Are you ok? Were you just.. looking at me?" I ask suspiciously
He jumps a bit at the fact that i knew he was looking at me, and he gets extremely nervous
"(y/n)! I have something to ask you!" Peedee suddenly says, still nervous
"Yes?" I say, getting a bit worried
"Today was.. really fun, a-and i was wondering, if it's ok with you! If we could do it again sometime" Peedee begins
"Sure Peedee, I'd love to do it aga-" I start
"As a date!" He adds
We both freeze at what he just said
"A-an actual.. proper.. official.. date" He finishes
"A d-date? L-like the ones c-couples do? L-like what b-boyfriends a-and girlf-friends do?" I ask anxiously
"Y-yes, like that" Peedee agrees
I see that we're about to reach the ground again
"U-um, c-can i th-think about it and i-I'll ge-get back to you?" I ask scared
"Uh, y-yeah, of course" Peedee says
Just in time we reach the ground, Mr Smiley opens the gate
"How did you enjoy the ride?" Mr Smiley asks
I quickly bolt out of the Ferris Wheel passenger cart and run out of Funland and to the Temple
I run up the stairs and slam the door open
(Author note: you run into the Temple after the bismuth is introduced to Steven and Amethyst and Bismuth is explained that Rose is now part of Steven, but before Bismuth starts talking about the other, older, original Crystal Gems)
"Guys you'll never believe what just happened!" I yell, before realising there was a strange new gem in our house
I pause, completely freaked out
"Wh-who is this!? Who are you!? What's going on!? I leave for about 2 and a half hours and i miss out on so much already!?" I yell completely freaking out
"Hey hey! (y/n) it's ok!" Garnet starts, she walks up to me and kneels down to my level, she puts both hands on my shoulders
"This is Bismuth, she's one of the original Crystal Gems, she fought along side us in most of the rebellion" Garnet says gesturing at this big, buff, gem with rainbow dreadlocks and tattoos on her body. Garnet stands back up and looks at the new Gem named Bismuth
"Bismuth, this is (y/n), she's another half-gem half-human hybrid, like Steven, only her gem half is a Lapis Lazuli, we're not sure who the Lapis Lazuli was, rebel or Homeworld gem, or if they fought in the Rebellion or if we knew them, but (y/n) is part of the Crystal Gems, whether or not her mother was" Garnet explains
Bismuth walks up to me and I stand my ground ready for anything. She bends down and hold out her hand
"Well it's nice to meet you (y/n), we love Lapides Lazulis in the Rebellion, they're quite powerful and I'm sure you'll be very useful in the fight" Bismuth says
She stands back up
"And wow, everything's changing so much. And we're building our bases out of wood now? Whose terrible idea was this?" Bismuth says ripping a piece of timber off the floor. I stand there in shock
'Is she gonna tear our house apart!? Like who's she think she is tearing up our floor!?' I think to myself as i watch her
Bismuth searches the house
"And where is everybody else?" Bismuth asks throwing away the piece of timber she just ripped out of the floor
"Everybody else?" Steven and I ask together
Bismuth turns to us confused for a second
"Yeah! The rest of the Crystal Gems. Old Crazy Lace, Biggs, Snowflake" Bismuth explain
Steven, Amethyst and I all look in confusion, whilst Garnet and Pearl look shocked and nervous
"There's something we need to show you... and tell you" Pearl says
We all walk over to the warp pad and we warp to this giant strawberry field, and by that i mean the field itself is giant and the strawberries are giant too
Bismuth looks like she's in shock the moment we get there
"No! No way! We were.. just here. How long was i out?" Bismuth asks frantically
"It's been about 5300 years. We, the Crystal Gems, were able to save the Earth" Pearl states as she walks up next to Bismuth
"But we're all that's left of the Rebellion?" Bismuth asks
Pearl nods and begins crying
"Aw, come on Pearl, you know i can't take it when you cry like that" Bismuth says beginning to cry too
I watch as Garnet walks up to them both
"I'm sorry" Pearl apologises
"No, no need to apologise" Bismuth says grabbing Pearl's and Garnet's hands in hers. I feel myself growing bitter as i see them hold hands
"Homeworld's final attack on Earth wiped out all of the Crystal Gems" Garnet starts explaining
"Rose was able to protect Garnet and myself from the attack, and by the looks of it, she was able to protect you as well" Pearl continues
Bismuth walks off as they explain that. She bends down and grabs an axe and lifts it high
"I knew those Homeworld elites were twisted. How many of us did they shatter!? Crazy Lace? Biggs!? Snowflake!? If i were there, i-i could have stopped it!" Bismuth says staring at the axe growing angry
I step back a bit at her anger and with the fact that she was holding an axe
"It's not like they've stopped trying" Garnet states
"What?" Bismuth asks
"Homeworld still has it's eyes on this planet" Garnet starts
"We continue to foil their plans, over and over" Pearl continues
Steven runs up next to them
"But they just keep coming back!" Steven adds
Amethyst follows Steven
"Yup, they want us bad" Amethyst finishes
I walk up to Garnet, Pearl, Steven and Amethyst slowly, continuously watching for an attack from the crazy, angry Bismuth who's still holding an axe
"Good. I thought i wouldn't get another chance to show those upper crusts who's boss! Let's show 'em what happens when you mess with the Crystal Gems" Bismuth says, pumping herself up, she slams the axe into the ground aggressively, i back up even more, still ready to fight
'I really have a bad feeling about her' I think to myself
"Bismuth, the Gems on Homeworld outnumber us by a huge amount" Garnet starts
"And their technology far surpasses anything we have available on Earth" Pearl finishes
They're both trying to convince Bismuth out of it but she just begins to laugh and grabs Garnet and Pearl into a tight hug. I growl to myself at this, i have no idea why I'm being like this
"What else is new? Garnet, remember when you and i took on a battalion of Quartz soldiers? We walked out with our stones shining brighter then when we went in" Bismuth says encouragingly looking at Garnet
I grow more and more resentful, mainly over all the history they all have, especially Garnet and Bismuth
'What is happening to me?' I ask myself
"As i recall, it was 3 battalions" Garnet says sassily, adjusting her glasses, which she does a lot when she's trying to 'show off', it's adorable
"And Pearl, remember when we stopped that drop ship? I'll never forget the look on that Nephrite's face when you pulled her out of the cockpit" Bismuth says encouragingly looking at Pearl
Pearl chuckles cheekily
"I know, how embarrassing.... for her" Pearl says
"So let's pick up where we left off! To the Forge!!" Bismuth says
Steven runs up to them and joins the hug
"Yayyyy, to the Forge!" He says
"Yo, um, what's a Forge?" Amethyst and i ask, walking up to the group slowly
"Oh, I'll show you, come on let's go" Bismuth says leading us to the warp pad
'I still have a really bad feeling about all of this.....' I think to myself before hopping into the warp pad cautiously
