Your P.O.V
I wake up on Steven's bed, my head aching like hell, i sit up slowly, holding my head with my right hand
"Arck, my head" I groan
"(y/n)! You're awake!" Steven yells from the end of the bed, he was watching T.V
"Argh, Steven my head! Keep it down, I have a headache" I say, holding my head using both my hands
"Oh right, sorry. Oh! I have to go get the Gems, I was told to get them as soon as you woke up" Steven says, rushing to the Temple door, he knocks on it excited
"Guysss, (y/n)'s awake now!!" Steven yells, he turns around to my direction, looking at me holding my head again
"Oh right, quiet.. Sorry (y/n)" Steven says
One by one the Gems come out of the Temple. First Pearl, the door opens for Garnet and she walks out almost as soon as the door closes after Pearl, and Amethyst comes out shortly after the door closes after Garnet, and I instantly get nervous. The Gems all surround me and I instantly feel their disappointment
"Ok, I know, drinking is bad and I shouldn't of done it and I'm sorry, I really am, I just, I don't know why I did it. I just saw the bottle there and the next thing I knew the bottle was empty.. I'm sorry guys" I apologise, no one says anything, I sit there not knowing what to do
"I'm sorry! I don't know what you want me to do! Or say! I was hurt! I was in pain ok!? My own father has told me how much he hates me! And I know I pretended I was completely fine but I wasn't! I wanted to feel ok, I wanted to be fine but I couldn't see that happening.... So when I saw that beer bottle I thought, it might be the only way i could have anything in common with my father, and maybe he'd like me just a little bit more.... But I understand if you hate me now, and if you want me to move out" I explain
Everything was quiet, no one was moving, or talking, when Garnet does the most unexpected thing you could think of,
She hugs me
"I know you weren't ok, and I am disappointed you had drunk alcohol, but I could never hate you (y/n), and I would never want you to move out" She whispers in my ear lovingly
"G-Garnet..... I-I-I'm s-so so-sorry, I-I just wanted the h-hurt to go away... Will m-my father ever love me Garnet..?" I ask, sobbing crazily
"It doesn't matter if he loves you, or loved you, or will ever love you, (y/n).... Because I- we.. love you" Garnet says, hugging me tighter, pulling me closer to her body
One by one everyone else joins in. First Steven, then Pearl, and finally Amethyst. And soon we're in a big group hug
'Is this what it feels like to be loved..? To have someone to depend on..? To have someone who will never want me to leave...? I love it' I think to myself as I squeeze onto all of them tightly
Everything will be ok
Author Note: Sorry about the short chapter but I think this is a perfect ending to this bit. Can I also take a minute to give a shout out to some special readers who have really encouraged me to keep writing with their simplest acts (voting on chapters and leaving comments)
