"Oh you're back." bati sakin ni Lander. After a short break bumalik na ako sa office. I may have personal problems but work is work.
"I am, and I have so many things to do, so stop messing up with me." tugon ko sa kanya. "And, if you want to be friends with me, stop being cheesy."
I said that with a smile and walk towards my office. Lander confessed to me weeks ago, like many things happened to me weeks ago. I need to get a grip so I took a short break.

Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at sinagot ang tawag.
"Sino 'to?"
Hindi muna ito nagsalita. Tahimik ito ng ilang segundo at nang ibababa ko na sana ay nagsalita na ito.
"Rae."
The voice cracked. My heart broke.
"It's been years, and I don't want to bother you, sana."
Papatayin ko na sana ang tawag nang pigilan ako nito.
"Atleast hear me out okay?"
"A-at b-ba--- bakit ko naman gagawin yun?"
Hindi ito nagsalita. Papatayin ko na sana ang tawag nang magsalita uli ito.
"3PM, sa Ficos. Friday, next week. See you."
Pinatay ko ang tawag. Anong ginawa ko? I just listened to that asshole.
But come to think of it, I had so many realizations. Like almost, that was my life's turning point.
Inisip ko rin ang sinabi ni Sr. Mae, that struck me, hard. But I didn't go. I don't want to, not now.
"You know, you could tell me things." ani Dylan na kaharap ko ngayon.
"And why would I do that?" pagsusungit ko.
"I've already explained things, diba?"
"Yes you did. And stop seeing me okay, you're getting married at tatay ka na. Ayokong maissue na naman. This time papatayin na talaga kita."
"I'm here as a friend, what we had before was wasted but we could do things again. Right?"
"Yeah whatever. Basta winarningan na kita. Alam mong wala na akong pamilya, and I only have my dog with me kaya kung makukulong ako, walang magluluksa so before you do things, I advised you to choose your life first."
