Two Worlds: a epic of Shadow and Rouge

Chapter 11

The training continued, the hedgehog had not yet managed to stop time. With that, Rouge decided to try something else. Thanks to her missions with Shadow, she had in mind a large list of powers, which Umbra could try to replicate.

"Imagine something like a spear in your other hand. Focus the beryllium energy on it. When you see the energy taking the shape of a spear, shoot that rock over there." Rouge pointed to a large rock, which was not far from them.

Umbra then did as instructed. He felt something like a chill going through his body. And then a warmth in your hand.

"Umbra. Open your eyes."

And so the hedgehog did. What he saw was something like a green fire in his hand. But it didn't burn it. But it still scared him.

Rouge noticed the instability in the green flame. "Stay calm, Umbra. You are losing it. Look at her. Visualize the spear."

The hedgehog calmed down and did as he was told. The green flame became a spear.
"Great Umbra. Keep it that way." When she realized that Umbra's hand was shaking, as if the hedgehog was holding a very heavy weight, she understood that Umbra would not be able to take it any longer. "Throw her at the stone. Fast."

Umbra moved her arm backwards, like a typical move from someone to throw a spear. He felt his arm ache, but managed to throw it, before reaching the limit that his body could take. When throwing forward the hedgehog ended up falling.

But the spear grew, got bigger than any Chaos Spear, that Rouge has ever seen Shadow create. She continued on her way, until finally she reached the rock. There was a big explosion. Everyone was impressed. Including Scourge.

Rubis never saw the spear grow, she had run to her fallen companion and fixed all her attention on him. The bat only noticed the damage done, after the noise of the explosion.

"That's my Boy." Scourge was clapping his hands. "You are awesome. Come on up."

"Leave it like this." Rouge spoke. The others looked at her confused. "She used up a lot of energy at once. If it was a battle and he was wrong. He would have lost the fight."
Umbra was listening to everything.

"He needs to learn to create smaller spears so that it doesn't happen. And so that I can create many spears."

"I understand." Scourge now looked serious. "You know what, woman? You really know how to cut pleasure." That said, the green hedgehog walked away.

Umbra tried to get up, while Rubis helped him. The two sat on the grass. The black hedgehog looked at Rouge. "Thank you, Miss Rouge. Without you I won't..."

"No need to thank, dear. This is my job now." The bat with its back to them, then turned, raised its thumb to the hedgehog, smiled and winked.

Umbra and Rubis smiled and hugged each other.
