The other day, all the civilians who were refugees in the hospital tower left. Umbra was in a wheelchair that dr. Ovi Kintobor had given it to him. After Rubis wept for believing that her mate would never walk again, Shadow and Rouge calmed her down, informing her that he, like Shadow, had an accelerated recovery and would soon be walking again.

Everyone was gathered in the Hospital Tower waiting for the arrival of someone that Zlase had said would come. The cat held ex-Zone Cop Zilver, who was handcuffed and now wore only a pair of white gloves and dark gray shoes, while Zonic held Scourge, who was also handcuffed, without his glasses and wearing a muzzle. Zone Cop wore his uniform and had all his equipment with him.

Sonic had a bandage on his knee. Just like the Rouge's broken wing. The bat now had the sample inhibiting ring on his wrist, wearing it as a bracelet.

A white light appears in front of them. When it went out, everyone could see what looked like another version of Shadow. He wore dark brown boots, a gray overcoat, and a holster with a Zone Cop gun.

Zonic and Zlase went to a new black hedgehog, taking Scourge and Zilver with them.

"How are you feeling, Officer Zonic?"

"I've been better."

"And Agent Zlase. Thank you for your services."

"I just did my duty, Commissioner Zhadow."

"Good morning, civilians. I came because I would like to personally apologize for the attitudes committed by one of my men ... and for the breach in our security that allowed the escape of one of the greatest criminals in the entire multiverse, which ended up harming you all." The hedgehog knelt. "As the leader of the Zone Cops, the responsibility is entirely mine."

"You don't need all of that, Zhadow." Zonic commented. "Even here you want to be selfish."

"Yes. Apologizing or blaming yourself is not going to change what has already happened." Shadow spoke. "Then get up."

"Have more respect with our leader." Said Zlase.

Zhadow stood up. "Now let's get this garbage out of here soon." And he started fiddling with his device to transport them back, the No Zone.

Zonic smiled. "Well, even more personal and thanks for everything."

Everyone waved goodbye.

Zonic then approached Zhadow's ear. 'Cute them together, don't you think? When are you going to declare yourself to Zouge?"

Zhadow blushed and when he was about to yell at the other hedgehog, the Zone Cops were teleported together with their prisoners.

"Well ..." Rouge turned to Rubis and Umbra. "I think it's our turn now."

The two bats held each other's hands. Rubis lowered his ears. "I wish you could stay ... but I know that you have responsibilities in your world."

"Rubies ... I wanted to thank you. You taught me a lot."

"You also taught me."

With that the two bats embraced and tears streamed from their eyes.

Umbra went to Shadow. "I know we didn't have much time to talk, but ... thanks."

Shadow held out his hand to Umbra. The two hedgehogs shook hands. Buns and dr. Ovi also thanked the trio. After saying goodbyes, Team Dark walked to the same place where the Zones Cops had teleported. Shadow and Rouge held each other's hands, while Omegava held one of Shadow's spines. The hedgehog raised his green Chaos Emerlad.
