Two Worlds: a epic of Shadow and Rouge

Chapter 22

"Sonic the Hedgehog. Who are these with you?" Omega asked.

"Good afternoon to you too, Omega."

"Irony detected."

The blue hedgehog laughed. "These are Zilver and Znuckles. They are Zone Cops. They called me, after Scourge captured my version of their universe and, shortly after, went to Mobius. They will help us to arrest Scourge."

Only their snouts were visible from their bodies, the red dreads of echidna from Znuckles and the gray spines of hedgehog from Zilver.

"Sonic. Please." ZIlver interrupted him. "We Zone Cops, we do not share information about our action plans with everyone we meet during our missions."

"He's right, Sonic." Znuckles spoke. "We entrust them to you, for having helped our troops before. In fact, we don't even usually allow civilians to work with us on our missions. Rules of conduct."

"Relax guys. I know everyone here. Take a break from all this bureaucracy."

"Take it easy, Sonic. We can not." Zilver started to leave the room. "Excuse me, I will now do a perimeter reconnaissance. I'll be back soon." And so Zone Cop left.

Sonic looked at the Zone Cop that stayed. "Please, Znuckles."

Zone Cop sighed, then put his hands on his helmet and removed it. His face was like Knuckles, for one difference. He had a big diagonal scar, in the middle of his forehead.

"What you need to know is that we have come to capture the prisoner, Scourge, who has fled the Zone Jail. Rescue our companion Zonic, who is feeling held prisoner by this Scourge. But don't worry, we will release whoever else is being held prisoner by him. And hand over the authorities of that world to all Scourge's allies."

"If it were easy, we would have done it already." Buns with a harsh tone of voice.

"That's what we have a plan for, miss."

"He's going to become Fiona." Sonic said that almost laughing.

"SONIC!" Znuckles shouted.

"I said man, you are worrying too much man." Sonic said that while slapping Znuckles on the back.

"Who is Fiona?" Rubis asked.

"She's Scourge's girlfriend." Buns replied. "But how do you transform yourself?"

Znuckles sighed. "OK, now it doesn't matter anymore. We Zone Cops have a device that allows us to change our appearance. It serves our espionage and infiltration missions. Look."

The echidna pressed a few buttons on the device on his wrist, then a series of pixels appeared, rotating around him and changing colors. When everyone was gone, everyone saw how he looked just like Fiona the fox. He wore the Zone Jail prisoner uniform and his hair down.

"I was also shocked when I first saw it." Sonic commented laughing.

"Impressive." The Doctor. Ovi spoke.

The whole story of Team Dark, since Scourge had gone to Mobius and recruited Rouge, was told to the blue hedgehog, while awaiting the return of Zone Cop, Zilver. Until he finally arrived.

"Zilver, these civilians told me important details. We will have to reassess our strategy."

Knuckles spoke.

"What are you talking about?"

"Apparently, Scourge is being held prisoner, along with their friends. We need to reformulate our strategy."
