Solomon's plans to hang out with Alicia the next day ended up being pushed back to the following weekend. Saturday morning was quiet in the house of Lamination. Lucifer, Diavolo, and Barbatos were off taking care of business in the Human World, which left the other residence to do whatever they wanted to do, and for Alicia, that meant seeing a man about some magic.

"Mammon." She knocked on his bedroom door, bouncing excitingly on her toes. "Solomon invited me out to the forest to show me some magic. Wanna come?"

The door opened slowly and she was greeted by a half-asleep demon. "Eh? Didn't Lucifer tell you to stay away from Solomon?"

"Well, yes. But, Lucifer's not here today." She smiled brightly and tiptoed to kiss him, only to stumble when he dodged her. "Hmm...Anyway, today's a field day. We can do whatever we want. Come on, get dressed. He's probably waiting for me right now." She checked her D3 and suddenly she stopped bouncing. "It's almost noon, why are you still sleeping?"

"Cause I'm tired, you can go but I'm gonna stay here and get some more sleep." Before she could ask him again, he closed the door in her face. She stared at the door for a moment and sighed. He'd been avoiding her all week, but she assumed it was because he wanted to study.

"Alright then. I'll just see you later." Shaking off the uneasiness she felt, she took off for the forest.

"Alicia, I'm glad you could make it." Solomon smiled and held out a small book for her. "I've taken the liberty of translating my most basic spells to English for you."

"Thanks for thinking ahead." She took the book and sighed. "I'm gonna need a minute, okay?"

"Is everything alright?"

"Everything's fine." She took a seat on the closest boulder and opened the book. "People just wake up on the wrong side of the bed."

"If you wanted to reschedule-"

"No, who knows when we'll be able to do this again?" She pushed her hair out of her face and smiled. "Just...Let me glance at the book for a few minutes."

"Take your time." Solomon walked off and tried to think of the best space for her to practice her summoning when he heard the sound of people passing by the space. "Simeon, Luke. I thought you two said you had plans today."

"We did, but Barbatos went to the human world today so my plans got canceled." Luke tried not to look as disappointed as he felt, while Simeon laughed.

"I finished my review of my notes and decided that a walk was in order for both of us. What brings you two out to the forest?"

"I wanted to show Alicia some magic, it's kinda sad that she has pacts with demons and has no clue how to use them."

"She shouldn't have to use them! We shouldn't even be here with these evil demons." Luke's face turned red with clear frustration. "But if you must, at least they'll be able to protect her if I'm not there to do it!"

Solomon fought the urge to laugh. This was the cutest little angel he's ever seen. "Exactly, so I'm going to show her how to summon them, along with a few other spells to keep herself safe in case summoning isn't the best option."

"Why wouldn't it be the best option?" Simeon tilted his head and crossed his arms. "I can't imagine a situation where the brothers wouldn't be able to help her."

Solomon thought about all the trouble Alicia could get into back home. "Well...Gun to her head. She's not going to have enough time to say such a long incantation without having the barrel jammed down her throat, or-"
