(AN: This chapter contains spoilers from one of the Birthday event chats, so if you haven't had a birthday in the Devildom yet, I'm so sorry!)
"What did you do?!" Alicia stood frozen in place while Belphie held her by her arms. She was surrounded by the brothers, and none of them looked happy. Michael was coming, and they only had a few minutes to get their story straight.
"I had to help him! It wasn't fair. I didn't get enough time with him!"
Beelzebub pulled her into a hug, unsure of how else to help. "Humans aren't supposed to live long. You would've met him here."
"What if he didn't come to the Celestial Realm? What if he ended up in the Devildom?!"
"That was a better risk than what you actually did." Lucifer turned around when the door flung open. The boys stood guarded in front of their sister, but she could see some waiving confidence. Beelzebub held her hand tightly, while Michael addressed Lucifer.
"She needs to come with me."
"What did father decide?"
"She broke a very serious rule, Lucifer. Please don't waste my time asking questions that you already have the answer to."
"Answer me, you owe us all that much."
"I owe you nothing." Michael glared at Lucifer and turned his attention to the girl in the back of the room. "Let's go."
Levi quickly stepped in front of the girl, pushing her so she would be hidden behind Beelzebub and Mammon. "You're not taking her!"
"Not until you tell us what's going to happen to her." Mammon called out.
Michael fought the urge to bring his wrath down upon the group. Instead, he took a deep breath and linked his arms behind his back. "Father has decided to terminate Lilith's existence. An angel that can't follow a commandment shall be purged from this realm." He could feel the tension rising in the room...Why did they have to be so difficult? "You won't even remember-"
"No."
"Excuse me?"
"I said no." Lucifer calmly walked up to Michael and stared him in the eye. "You're not taking her from us. This is where I draw the line."
"And you're prepared to die on that line?"
"For my siblings? Always."
"Lucifer!" Alicia woke up with a gasp and covered her face to try and soothe an oncoming headache. That wasn't the best night's sleep she'd gotten, but then again, she did have an event day prior.
She pulled herself out of bed and decided to wash her hair. She didn't get the chance to yesterday since Barbatos insisted on giving her the third degree as to the real cause of her injury, but Diavolo made him drop it. She was back, she was safe, and that's all that mattered to him.
As she scrubbed her scalp, she couldn't help but wonder why she was dreaming that she was Lilith. The guys didn't talk about their life in the Celestial Realm, and they rarely mentioned her. Was this because of her night with Beel?
Can't be, I had a dream before then. She shook her head, maybe she could bring this up later to Asmo and figure out what was going on.
After almost an hour, Alicia stepped out of the bathroom. She rubbed the towel behind her ears and stopped when she saw a small pink box on her windowsill, next to a very pretty navy blue dress. She grabbed it and sat on her bed, looking at the note.
