While Saphonya tended to the mortal on the other side of the door, Agatha paced her room, trying not to destroy it in rage, rage at the fact that her sisters constantly denounced their demon side, and rage at the fact that she was roped into something that would seriously damage her relationship with Belphie.
She grabbed the doorknob and pulled as hard as she could, it wouldn't budge. She screamed in frustration and kicked the door. No phone so she couldn't call Belphie, she couldn't even call that stupid idiot-
"Agie!" Angela knocked on Agatha's window, humming happily. She opened the window and leaned over the edge. "Do you know when Saphonya's planning on finishing up with that client? I need a vial of spider venom...but the last time I interrupted her, she had a pissy fit."
"The term is hissy fit." Agatha looked over her sister, screaming on the inside but calm and collected on the outside. An opened window was better than nothing. "She shouldn't be much longer..." She walked over to the window and poked her head out. The second floor wasn't a big drop. "Why do you need the venom? You know what, nevermind." She pushed Angela out of the way and climbed out the window, hitting the ground quietly.
"Where are you going?" Angela dropped from the window and smiled. "We can hang out."
"Sorry, I'm in a bit of a rush." Before Angela could pester her anymore, Agatha vanished from her spot. Angela pouted and crossed her arms. With a huff, she took a seat in the backyard and waited for Saphonya to finish.
An hour after the party, there was a loud knocking on the House of Lamentation's door. A subtle, but more urgent one followed in its footsteps.
Lucifer walked to the door and opened it, straightening his back even more than usual when his eyes settled on Diavolo and Barbatos. "Good evening Lord Diavolo, Barbatos...What are you two doing here?"
"We came to collect Alicia. She's a little late, and we had plans this evening." Diavolo explained.
"We assumed she came here again, so we just wanted to see if she still wanted to go out for her birthday," Barbatos added.
"She left for the palace almost an hour ago. I figured she was with you." Lucifer went into his pocket and took out his phone while letting the pair in.
Mammon looked up from his spot on the couch and jumped up. "What're you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with Alicia?"
"She never showed up," Lucifer muttered, dialing her number while Beelzebub walked out of the kitchen, holding a can of Poison Apple Pop.
"What do you mean she never showed up? Do you think she got lost?"
"I doubt it," Satan muttered, he shifted in his demon form to try and rub the pact mark on his back. "My mark is itching."
"Really? Mine isn't." Mammon reached behind his back, tracing the sigil with his fingers. Lucifer didn't even notice the fact that his was irritating him, his calls kept going to voicemail.
"If she has pacts with you all, she should be able to use them." Marcus pointed out when he finally arrived in the space. He'd taken the liberty to walk around the school grounds after the party, getting a feel for where his sister would be spending the rest of the year. His eyes settled on the group of demons and he crossed his arms. "She knows how to use them, right?"
"She won't be able to use them now," Lucifer muttered, suddenly feeling like an idiot.
Satan raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. "Why can't she use them?"
"Because I sealed her access to magic away."
Mammon's eyes widened and he fought the urge to take a run at Lucifer, not that it would amount to anything anyway. "Why the fuck would you do that?!"
