"As Mother Gothel fell to her death from the tower, Rapunzel rushed over to the her wounded love interest. She mourns the loss of Eugene, as he passed in her arms."

Eri sat in (Your Name)'s lap with her head rested comfortably in the woman's chest as she listened to the tales of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, or Eugene. Storytelling always helped Eri get to sleep, and she always seemed to enjoy fairytales the most. So tonight, (Your Name) is telling the story of Rapunzel. The young woman rubbed soothing circles on the child's back and smiled once Eri looked at her with a small pout.

"But they're supposed to live happily ever after."

The (hair color) haired woman let out a small laugh and booped the six year old's nose as she gave Eri a gentle smile.

"Don't worry sweetie, the story's not over just yet."

Eri nodded nuzzled into (Your Name)'s chest as she began to listen to the story once more.

"Now where was I... Oh yes! A tear slipped from her eye as the lost princess mourned over her lost love. Do you remember there flower from the beginning?"

Eri nodded. "Mhm." (Your Name) began to run her hand through Eri's hair.

"Well Rapunzel's tear held the power from the flower, and it landed on Eugene's cheek, restoring his life."

Eri let out a quiet, happy cheer as (Your Name) continued with the story.

"After Eugene awoke, he and Rapunzel returned to the kingdom of Corona where she reunited with her mother and father. The entire kingdom rejoiced and broke out in celebration at the return of their lost princess. In addition to, pardoning Eugene of his crimes. Rapunzel and Eugene were married, and they lived happily ever after the end."

Eri let out a quiet "yay" before letting out a yawn and sleepily rubbing her eye. (Your Name) smiled and tucked the sleepy child under the fluffy blanket she bought for her. The woman placed a loving kiss upon the child's forehead as she dozed off.

"Goodnight sweetheart."

The (eye color) eyed woman made her way out or the room and quietly shut the door behind her. She yawned as she went into the direction of Kai's office to see if he was still there.

From the light that was shining from beneath his office door, he was still there. (Your Name) brought her knuckles down on the door in three knocks.

"Kai, it's me. May I come in?"

"Yes, you don't have to ask."

"I would ask what you're doing up so late, but this is a normal thing for you."

"I make it a point to visit you every night, devil."

Kai rolled his eyes, but he couldn't fight the small smile that appeared behind his mask.

"So I've noticed."

(Your Name) went over to Kai and sat herself on his desk, criss crossing her legs. She leaned forward and scanned over the papers in his hand with curious eyes.

"More partnership offers?"

Kai let out a small groan and nodded.

"Yes. Unfortunately, most of them are absolutely absurd and disgusting tonight. Just like this one."
