You realized, all good things must come to an end because you were awoken by that God forsaken alarm clock. It was another work day, and the annoying, repetitive, ear piercing 'Beep' noise annoyed you to no end. Nothing will ever make you get used to the sound.

You gritted your teeth as a growl left your throat, and you grabbed the alarm clock and threw it towards the nearest wall. A sigh of relief left you as the beeping stopped, and the sound of broken peices rang throughout the room.

"Now was that really necessary, dove?"

You flopped down on your stomach, sinking into the comfortable material of the mattress. With your arms resting under your pillow, you looked over to see amused amber eyes staring back at you. You let out an annoyed groan as you snuggled into the pillow.

"Yes. Yes, actually, it was."

Kai lifted an eyebrow.

"That alarm clock was merely doing its job."

You pouted.

"Well no where in the job description of an alarm clock did it say they had to be so annoying."

Kai playfully rolled his eyes as he sat up. He stretches his arms above his head, letting out a yawn before a small, teasing smirk found its way onto his face.

"Well no one said you had to be so annoying either, yet here we are."

You shot him a playful glare before picking up you pillow and hitting your lover square in the face with it. He let out a surprised 'oof' as his back collided with the mattress. Crossing your arms, you pouted and turned your head away from him.

"Meanie..."

Kai lifted the pillow off his face slightly, peeking at your pouting form. He rolled his eyes as he fought back a smile.

"You know I'm merely teasing you, dove."

You kept your arms crossed as you turned away from him completely, your back facing towards him. You battled against a smile as you continued your pouting charade.

"Do I know? For all I know that could be how you truly feel. You may actually think I'm annoying."

A small smirk etched onto your face as you felt Kai quickly sit up. Kai raised an eyebrow as crawled over to sit behind you.

"You know I don't."

The same smirk remained on your lips as you stuck your nose in the air.

"Hmph. Do I?"

Kai's eyebrows raised in amusement once he caught sight of the playful smirk on your lips. A smirk of his own made its way onto his face as his hands travlled under the material of your shirt(it was actually his shirt) and rested them on your waist. His cooler hands on your skin made a shiver travel down your spine.

"You know I was joking, right dove?~"

Although it was hard, you kept up your composure. Your arms remained crossed over your chest as you pursed your lips, trying hard to fight back a smile as Kai's touch lingers on your waist. A mischievous glint flashed in Kai's amber eyes as he saw your composure dwindling.
